Here at NHS Jobs wersquove been working hard behind the scenes to developfeatures that will help both applicants and employers find and fill vacanciesrelated to COVID-19 quickly and easily You may have already heard that last week we launched our COVID-19indicator tool which allows applicants to search and filter for roles related toCOVID-19 and the unique COVID-19 icon makes them easy to identify Thetool also allows employers to flag new and existing vacancies as COVID-19related Our developers have also prepared links which can be shared with otherrecruitment websites enabling them to display the COVID-19 related vacanciesfrom within NHS Jobs on their own jobs boards

NHS Jobs COVID-19 indicator goes live



Last week NHS Jobs worked quickly to release new features to allowapplicants to search filter and apply for vacancies specific to COVID-19 in theNHS These roles are easily identifiable by the unique COVID-19 icondisplayed next to the job titles

How this helps employersThese updates mean that employers who advertise roles on NHS Jobs cannow flag vacancies as being specifically linked to COVID-19 by ticking alsquoCOVID-19rsquo box when posting The vacancy will appear higher in the list ofresults that applicants see when searching for jobs if multiple matches arefound

Published vacancies that are still open for applications can also be edited byemployers to flag them as COVID-19 specific

Within 5 days of the COVID-19 indicator being implemented on NHS Jobsthere have been 390 vacancies advertised using it 318222 advert views and11011 applications to COVID-19 specific roles

How this helps applicantsApplicants can search for COVID-19 roles relevant to them by ticking thelsquoCOVID-19rsquo box when searching Alternatively they can click the link in thebanner on the NHS Jobs homepage which will take them to all COVID-19 rolesthat are currently being advertised

When applicants search for roles on NHS Jobs in the normal way without



ticking the lsquoCOVID-19rsquo box relevant COVID-19 vacancies will still appear at thetop of any searches and will also appear at the top of vacancies emailed toapplicants who receive the lsquoJobs by emailrsquo service

We encourage applicants to keep checking back to NHS Jobs for COVID-19related roles as more roles are being added as and when they are identified
