For forty-five years the organization Us and its principal institution, the African American Cultural Center, have promoted the values of the Nguzo Saba (the Seven Principles) as a fundamental means of building and strengthening family, community and culture.
Most widely known as the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa, the Nguzo Saba are used year round to enrich and expand the lives of millions of people and serve as a core vision and value orientation for thousands of programs, projects and institutions throughout the world African community.
The Nguzo Saba 2010 Conference will present models of excellence from persons and organizations around the country who use the Nguzo Saba for cultural grounding and value orientation in a wide variety of areas:
