Interfaces

IP Converter Communicates with your Pluto system via an Ethernet connection

Lighting, alarm panels, and so on, communicate with an RS232 port.If these devices are near the Core, you can plug them in directlyto the Core's RS232 port. But, if they're not, just plug an interface module into the nearest Ethernet jack, and plug the device into the RS232 port

It has RS232, Infrared outputs, Relays, and sensor inputs

The Playlist Remote

Whenever you have multiple media to play, either because you chose to play a playlist, or because you picked media and touched 'play Queue', the remote will show you everything in the queue.  You always see the name and picture of the current media, and can touch any item to jump to it.  You can also save this as a playlist

When you select a show that starts at a future time, Pluto gives you clear choices for how to handle it.  You can even select whether to save this as 'public' o private'.  Private means only the person recording it can watch it again, in this case Marco.  Public means anyone in the family can watch it.
