Plover CenterTransportation is available after school from Plover Whiting, McDill, and McKinley Elementary, and Ben Franklin Middle School to the Plover Center through the Stevens Point Transportation Department. The Boys & Girls Club

5 CLUB PROGRAM AREASThe ArtsPrograms in this area are designed to foster creativity in young people and give them outlets for self-expression. From Fine Arts to Photography, our art programs have something that will inspire everyone.
Educational and Career DevelopmentPrograms in this area are designed to ensure that all Club members graduate from high school on time and are ready for a post-secondary education in a 21st Century Career.
Character & Leadership Programs in this area help youth become responsible, caring citizens. Club members also develop leadership skills and gain opportunities for planning, decision-making, and contributing to the Club and community.
Sports and Recreation Programs in this area develop physical fitness, environmental appreciation and interpersonal skills, all while reducing stress and promoting a positive use of leisure time.
Health & Life SkillsPrograms in this area help develop Club members’ capacity to engage in positive behaviors to nurture their overall well-being, set personal goals, and grow into self-sufficient adults.
Each BGC provides a FREE healthy snack for Club members daily after school. The Berard and Teen Center will also provide a FREE dinner daily after school. Club sites which are open on No School Days will provide Club members with a FREE healthy lunch and snack. BGC meals are partially reimbursed through the USDA CACFP and SFSP program. Donations are encouraged to help fund our food programs.This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
