Snapshot from our President Welcome to our 13 new

members. I think you’ll find

some great activities in the

following pages to get you

out and about and meeting

fellow PPLAC members!

LACVI is implementing software support to assist the Committees of all Victorian Clubs to manage their administration more

efficiently and reduce the workload of volunteers. This software will also make personal data more secure: we will be able to move off the spreadsheets and word documents we use to support the membership and fulfil other important LAC activities. Before we migrate the membership data, we will ask you to supply your

date of birth. This information will be kept securely with the rest of your personal data. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Out and about

Day Trip to The Stoke Collection, Mt Macedon

On a very cold and damp November day a small bus load of PPLAC members clambered off the bus and

invaded the township of Macedon. Murray had organised a day trip to visit The Stoke Collection followed

by a picnic lunch. To walk through The Stoke Collection is a breathtaking experience. This remarkable

collection represents the life-long passion of Cyril Stokes. It bears witness to his love and knowledge of

beautiful decorative arts. We were escorted through 13 of the 16 rooms that housed this amazing

collection. To complete the experience, we then wandered through the surrounding six hectares of the

100 year old Forest Glade Gardens. Thank you Murray for sharing and organising a day that will be

remembered by the PPLAC members who were fortunate enough to be there. Gillian.

Forty PPLAC members enjoyed a lovely Christmas Lunch on 12th December.
