Nursery Manager’s Message
Newsletter - Prestwich September - November 2015
We have been very busy over the last couple of months. Pre school loved their leavers
trip to a popular play centre, and the graduation ceremony for our school leavers was
very emotional!
Celebrations
We have also recognised the diversity of our families by celebrating lots of different
festivals. We are focusing on British Values over the coming months. If you have any
suggestions please feel free to share these.
Summer Fair
A HUGE thank you to everyone that helped with and supported our summer fair. We
raised a total of £670!! This will be donated to: The Rainbow Trust, NSPCC and
Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Transitions to the next room
As there are so many move ups in September we have been focusing on children visiting
their new rooms. Those who are ready to move should have had several visits and letters
will have been sent home. If you would like a meeting with your child’s new key person
please speak with the room leader who will happily arrange this for you.
Clothing
Please label all clothing lots of children have the same or similar items. Please also bring
appropriate clothing suitable for the weather and a few items of spare clothing, more if
your child is toilet training (don’t forget spare shoes – we recommend crocs or jelly shoes
etc.)
Parking
Please park courteously at nursery, and keep your speed to a minimum. Please be extra
vigilant for little children.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
Hello dear families, it is the sad time of the year where our pre-
school children fly the nest and go to big school. I would like to wish
them lots of luck on their exciting journey. xx
Invoices
Invoices are given out around the 20th of each month for the following month, these are
available from your child’s room to collect.
Can I also remind all parents that fee’s are payable by the 1st of each month in advance.
Failure to pay fees promptly could result in losing your child's place at nursery.
Fees can be paid by direct debit, standing order, childcare vouchers, cash, debit card or
cheque. If you are concerned about payment, it is paramount that you speak with me at
the earliest opportunity.
