SA1 examinations ended, students were thrilled andoverwhelmed to enter the new term. With their zestand charm, once again the corridors of grade 2 werefilled with laughter. A special assembly to celebrateEid Al Adha was conducted by senior students andattended by students and teachers of Grade 2.On 2nd October, Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated with pride, joy and respect to the Father of our Nation.
The KHDA inspection passed without much ado. The inspectors attended the class assembly and looked visibly impressed by the presentation done by the students. A range of appropriate resources were used to enhance the implementation of an activity-based curriculum . Activity-based learning and opportunities for children to learn through play were consistently available. In an increasing number of lessons, children had greater opportunity to develop their language skills and make choices from the available activities.
Diwali is synonymous with the celebration of life and to make this festival special, a diya decoration activity was conducted for students of Grade II in the school premises. They decorated diyas and left everyone spellbound with their sense of creativity
Aiming to provide yet another learning experience which the students can cherish and use it on a day to day basis, a short demonstration on ‘Paper craft’ was conducted. Students were delighted to see and learn how the simple coloured sheets can be transformed into beautiful decorative pieces .
