    Excellent/Excellent

    Ratings Again!!!

We are proud to announce thatbecause of student and teacher performance over the past year, IMS has earnedan Excellent Absolute and Improvement on the 2014 School Report Card. Con-gratulations are extended to the students, parents, faculty, and staff members who

were instrumental in our receiving this recognition.

To ensure that we embrace a climate of continuous improvement, we have sev-eral strategies (Data Teams, authentic literacy and vocabulary, cultural compe-tency) in place to guide our progress and illuminate the path ahead. With our tan-dem partners (Expeditionary Learning and PITSCO Education), we are changinghow our students learn and it is resulting in a paradigm shift for our teachers, stu-dents, and families. I am extending an invitation to all parents, community mem-bers, and business leaders to continue joining us in our school improvement ef-forts. Doing so will allow us to incrementally increase our performance results sowe can better prepare our students for the high wage, high

    demand jobs of tomorrow.

    IMS, reshaping the world

    one student, teacher, parent, and

    staff member at a time.
