This week we had the first two publications from our researchers affiliated with the
UCEMA Friedman Hayek Center.
One was "Models, realism and market process" by Agustina Borella, which was ranked
in the Top Ten downloads from Social Science Research Network in the topics Philosophy
& Methodology of economics; Neoclassical; and Macroeconomics: aggregative models.
The other is “Coronavirus y educación. Un año después” (Coronavirus and education.
One year later), by Edgardo Zablotsky, published in the Serie de Documentos de Trabajo
UCEMA (working paper series) on August 11, 2021.
Likewise, on June 30, 2021 Nicolás Cachanosky signed his first article as Fellow of the
center in Diario Perfil (“Qué hay detrás de la subida del Dólar Blue” What is behind
the rise in the “Blue dollar”)
We congratulate our researchers for this first step in the path of making UCEMA
Friedman Hayek a powerful voice in the field of academic research worldwide.
Nicolás Cachanosky
Nicolás Cachanosky was one of the speakers during the celebration for the 50 years of the
Marroquín University, held under the premise “El sueño imposible: 50 años de educación
en libertad” (The impossible dream: 50 years of education in freedom). There, he lectured
on “El estado de la libertad individual en Latinoamérica” (The state of individual freedom
