day July

Last day of term
The last day of term is Friday 29 June. School will finish an hour earlier. Please make sure you are here to collect your child/ren at 2.15pm.
Lost Property
There are many jumpers, jackets and non-school items that have been collected over the last term in the lost property cupboard. We will put them all out on display in the Gym for our final day, so please take the time to go through the pile. Any un-named school uni-forms remaining at the end of the day will be washed and added to our second-hand uni-form cupboard, while other clothes may be sent to the Op-Shop.
If you purchase new uniforms over the break, please ensure each item of clothing is clearly named; if this is not possible, see your child’s teacher on the first day who will gladly write your child’s name on the clothing with a fabric pen.
Farewells - to Jodie P as she begins a new journey in another State. We will miss your easy-going nature and your ability to establish positive relationships with all staff, students and parents. The commitment you have made to assisting students and of LRPS is out-standing – thank you! Enjoy your time on leave and we look forward to your return in 2019.
To Mrs Wells as she heads off to another school for the remainder of the year, we wish you well and hope to hear about all the successful things you have done. The students, staff and community will miss you around here immensely. We look forward to seeing you return in 2019. Best wishes and keep in touch.
We welcome Stacey M as she embarks on her journey with us here at LRPS. Ms Michell will teach 3 / 4 K for the remainder of the year. Mr West will teach in 2 W full time next semester.
Jennie W will fulfil an ESS role in Mr Millar’s room for the second half of the year. Wel-come Jennie.
Have a great holiday everyone. See you on the 16 July back at school.

Please note that due to OH & S compliances we are unable to reheat or supply hot water for snacks or lunches (noodles, cup of soup, etc.) Students are most welcome to bring these foods premade in a thermos or similar container.
Working with Children’s Check
Are you helping at school?
Are you part of the Parents & Friends Group?
Are you on School Council?
Do you assist with classroom activities?
Do you attend camp / excursions?
We are so pleased to have many parents/carers involved in our school programs this year. The appreciation ex-
pressed by students and staff is most heart-warming and I really want this involvement to continue. In order to
make this possible the office requires a record of your Working with Children Check on file.
Please bring your card in to the office to be copied or if you do not have a current Working with Children’s Check
then you must obtain one asap. You can apply online for a Volunteer (no charge) WWCC at: http://
www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/
Thank you to everyone who partici-
pated and collected vouchers from
