This was a really special performance and marked Icklesham School s 10th annual appearance at this event. Well done! Business Ambassadors On Wednesday 7th February, the Business Ambassadors went on a learning trip to the Sussex Fire Service. We learned all about where the fire staons are and also about the fire triangle. We walked to the Museum and took a look around, learning which job had which role. Aſter that, we went back to the fire service. All of us dressed up in a fire suit. Then we got to see the equipment fire truck and we got to spray water from the fire truck hose! It was a really fun way to learn. By Jolie, Connor and Amaro. Curious Curriculum Wow—what a first term we have had in our new Curious Curriculum. We have had so many posive comments from the school community about how engaged and curious the children are. We have seen the buzz of the first week grow and grow and lead to some inspiraonal learning across the school. The response from the children has been so good we have decided to add another award - The I Wonder... Award for Outstanding Learning’. The very first recipient of this was Inigo for his outstanding homework. Mrs Cullingworth and I were proud to share the impact of our research project so far with other schools on Thursday this week. We are now looking forward to planning the next part of our research into outstanding learning opportunies for our children. Do come along to our Curious Curriculum Showcase on Tuesday 6th March to see what we have been up to.
