Background information – Questions to the Managing Shareholder Joerg
Knehe and Managing Director Juern Schmidt
What is so special about Hansa Meyer Global? Hansa Meyer Global, as a transport architect, occupies a certain niche in the market. We focus on high volume and heavyweight goods. Our wide range of services that are provided by more than 20 offices around the world, lives up to very high quality standards with a clear commitment to customer orders. Although the company operates in more than a dozen countries, we have such a common corporate culture that ensures rapid exchange of information and efficient com-munication among the employees. What are the biggest challenges for project forwarders in the field of high and heavy in the next few years? One of the biggest challenges is continuous and forward focused recruitment of the best people in our niche market. Furthermore, we consider constant changes in the world economy as an opportunity rather than a threat. Finally, we must always anticipate changes in the world trade and supply flows and adjust our business accordingly. We reinforce our operations, e.g. our activities in Southeast Asia. Where will Hansa Meyer Global be in five years? We have stipulated our vision and goals clearly. We want to become one of the most attractive employers in the field of transport and project logistics and be present at the most strategically important venues of the world. We want to maintain our financial independence and, thus, foster our long-term invest-ment capacity.

PM5 – Hansa Meyer Global sets course for the future
Hansa Meyer Global sets course for the future
A strategic and organizational course for the next decade - from HEGO Partner Holding to Hansa Meyer Global Holding Bremen, December 8, 2014 - HEGO Partner Holding GmbH, with its Hansa Meyer
Global subsidiaries, looking back on a multiple year track record of successful operation
and expertise in the field of project forwarding and logistics, introduces new strategic
and organizational arrangements for the next decade. Hansa Meyer Global as a
transport architect must be more strongly perceived worldwide as a brand name in the
field of large-volume and heavy goods shipment arrangements. Consequently, HEGO
Partner Holding GmbH will be renamed into Hansa Meyer Global Holding GmbH, within
the framework of a single-brand strategy, by January 2015.
Sales in Germany will be reinforced to be able to serve the customers in the European
market even better. The recognized competences allow to increasingly address new
industry sectors, such as EPCs and the oil & gas branch. The service portfolio in the
field of Turn-Key Logistical Concepts and European High and Heavy Transport will be
extended in order to become an even better partner for the customers. Expansion of
activities in Southeast Asia, particularly in Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia, shall em-
power the company to face the challenges and provide logistical solutions for the new
customers and markets.
Our core competencies in Germany will be based in Bremen and Dusseldorf. As it has
been long planned, Susanne Preussner and Henrique Wohltmann, internationally expe-
rienced managers in the field of project logistics, are together overtaking freight for-
warding management in Germany at the turn of the year. Jürn Schmidt will become the
sole Managing Director of Hansa Meyer Global Transport GmbH & Co. KG in January
2015. Jörg Knehe, as a Managing Shareholder, and Jürn Schmidt, as a Managing Direc-
tor, will continue to be responsible for the management of Hansa Meyer Global Holding
GmbH (previously HEGO Partner Holding GmbH).

“We want Hansa Meyer Global to become one of most preferable employers in the field
of transport and project logistics with local operations based at the most strategic ven-
ues of the world, in the next five years,” says Managing Director Jürn Schmidt.

PM6 – Hansa Meyer Global supports organizations working for children
Hansa Meyer Global supports organizations working for children "Support Children" Project: Hansa Meyer Global supports Deutschen Kinderschutzbund Bremen (the German Association for Child Protection) with a donation – An additional donation to AVS & Friends Association
Bremen, December 16, 2014 - About two years ago, the management of Hansa Meyer
Global worked out the guidelines that have been set out in writing in the form of princi-
ples, values and objectives. The questions which go beyond the "classical business"
were raised during this process: "What means the most to us?" and "We are successful,
who we can we share our success with?". These discussions and reflections have
shown that children mean the most to Hansa Meyer Global. „Thank God, we are not
alone to realize it; but we, individually, have set ourselves to pay attention to this issue
and decided how to deal with it seriously by means of various supporting events, dona-
tions and other campaigns. We have, therefore, committed ourselves to support the or-
ganizations that work for protection, promotion and positive development of children,"
says Managing Director Jürn Schmidt. And thus, the project "Support Children" has orig-
inated. After Hansa Meyer Global had supported and promoted the Bremen Angel initia-
tive, SOS Children's Villages, Professor Hess Children's Hospital, and the Thai Hanseat-
ic School for Life, the company supported the German Association for Child Protection
in Bremen with a generous donation.
Andreas Bröcher, Managing Director of DKSB, thanked the Directors Jörg Knehe and
Jürn Schmidt. "The donation has been provided at the right time because we urgently
need new equipment for the therapy rooms of the counseling facilities," said Bröcher.
Each year more than 1,000 girls and boys need advisory services of the German Asso-
ciation for Child Protection. Besides child communication support materials, now, we can
also purchase a table for the therapy room which can be extended according to the size
of the group. Therapeutic tools also include a playhouse which helps the children to re-
tell their own life stories, as well as therapy dolls to encourage a dialogue.

dreas Bröcher (Managing Director of DKSB), Jürn Schmidt (Hansa Meyer Global)
The citizens' initiative AVS & Friends also received a donation this year. Affected by his
own cancer experiences, Andreas von Salzen, the founder of the Association, has had
the great desire, since his recovery, to help cancer, and thereby financially distressed
patients and their families. His personal tragedy gave birth to such a successful citizens'
initiative of the Bremen middle class with a clear message: "Actions speak louder than
words!" Life with cancer requires a lot of strength and raises many questions, and, in
this, job, family and friends acquire different values.
