Mobilidade EuropeiaA Câmara Municipal de Montijo, em parceria com a Associação para a Formação Profissional e Desenvolvimento do Montijo, atra-vés do Gabinete de Desenvolvimento Associativo e Cidadania, tem promovido ao longo dos 4 anos projectos de Mobilidade Europeia e Internacional proporcionando importantes oportunidades forma-tivas. Num Espaço Europeu onde cada vez mais se valoriza a igualda-de entre cidadãos que integram os Estados-Membros, os jovens, através dos programas “Juventude em Acção” e “Aprendizagem ao Longo da Vida”, têm a oportunidade de promover o seu desenvol-vimento pessoal e cognitivo.Para que a informação sobre estes Projectos Internacionais che-gue ao maior número de Munícipes, o GDAC, relança as Edições em Português e inglês da Newsletter.

The City Council of Montijo, in partnership with Associação para a Formação Profissional e Desenvolvimento do Montijo, through GDAC, had promoted all over 4 years projects of European and International Mobility proportionate important formative opportuni-ties.In a European Space where the equality between citizens of the Member-States are more valued, the youngsters, through pro-grammes like “Youth in Action” and “Life Learning”, have the chance to promote their knowledge and self development.To spread the information about this International Projects, GDAC, as new Editions of the monthly newsletter, in Portuguese and Eng-lish.

Quem somos?O Gabinete de Desenvolvimento Associativo e Cidadania (GDAC) foi criado em Julho de 2005 através de um protocolo celebrado en-tre a Câmara Municipal de Montijo e Associação para a Formação Profissional e Desenvolvimento do Montijo (Escola Profissional do Montijo). Objectivos: promover a mobilidade dentro e fora do Espaço Euro-peu e garantir a participação activa dos cidadãos do Montijo.

Mobilidade Jovem na Europa

Decorreu de 4 a 12 de Maio em Haia, Holanda, o Curso de Forma-ção Internacional “Interconnecting! Applying New Media in Euro-pean Youth Work Sustainably”.Este projecto contou com a presença da jovem Janete Alves que teve a oportunidade de, juntamente com vários jovens, promover a reflexão sobre a importância dos media nas suas vidas diária, assim como promover o desenvolvimento de projectos internacio-nais no âmbito do Programa Juventude em Acção. As actividades decorreram ao longo de formações envolveram os vários domínios técnicos na área do design gráfico digital e Inter-net.

European Youth Mobility

Occurred from 4th to 12th May in Haia, Holland, the training course “Interconnecting! Applying New Media In European Youth Work Sustainably”.This project had the participation of young Portuguese Janete Al-ves that had the opportunity to, with other youngsters, promote the reflexion about media importance in their daily lifes, as well as to promote the development of international projects in Youth in action Programme framework.The activities involved technical domains such as digital graphic design and Internet.

Media in European Youth Work Sustainably”

O Intercâmbio Internacional de Jovens “Who is the human who Makes Sports”, decorreu em Izmir, Turquia, de 14 a 23 de Maio.Participaram neste projecto os Jovens Luís Moreira, Tânia Torres, João Rosa e André Anselmo. Assim, estes jovens tiveram a opor-tunidade de participar num intercâmbio onde a promoção das acti-vidades desportivas era um dos principais objectivos. Este projecto proporcionou também um momento de reflexão e discussão sobre o enquadramento do desporto nas várias culturas que estavam presentes e sobre os benefícios físicos e psicológi-cos que advém das actividades desportivas. Os jovens participantes neste projecto tiveram ainda a oportunida-de de pensar e preparar um futuro projecto. Sobre este projecto, alguns dos jovens que participaram deixaram um pequeno testemunho:“ Uma das maiores experiências do ponto de vista cultural. “Who is the Human Who Makes Sports”

The Youth Exchange “Who is the Human Who Makes Sports”, oc-curred In Izmir, Turquia, from 14th to 23rd May.In this project participated the Portuguese Youngsters Luís Morei-ra, Tânia Torres, João Rosa and André Anselmo. This participants had the opportunity to be part of an youth exchange where the promotion of sport activities where the main objective.This project proportionate also a moment to reflect and discuss about the sports framework in the several cultural presents in the project and about physical and psychological benefits of sport ac-tivities practices. The youngsters had also the chance to think and prepare a future project in the Youth in Action Programme Framework.About this project, some of the participants give a little testimony :“One of the biggest experiences from cultural point of view. O Seminário Internacional “Comparative Analysis of the Steps of Monitoring” decorreu de 31 de Maio a 4 de Junho, em Calais, Fran-ça.Este projecto teve como principal objectivo promover o carácter autónomo dos participantes, partilhando as suas experiencias de vida, a visão da relação entre os jovens do seu país de origem e o carácter autónomo dos mesmos. The Seminar “Comparative Analysis of the Steps of Monitoring” occurred from 31st May to 4th June, in Calais, France.This project had as main objective to promote the autonomous character of the participants, sharing their life experience, the vi-sion of the relation between the youngsters of their origin coun-tries and their own autonomous character.In this project participated the youngster Vanessa Batalhas.

Realizou-se de 13 a 20 de Junho o Curso de Formação “Peer Edu-cation Approach in Trafficking Prevention”, em Palermo, Itália.Neste projecto os participantes foram alertados para o problema social que é o tráfico humano, um problema cada vez mais real da nossa sociedade e para o qual os cidadão estão pouco informa-dos. O curso teve como objectivo partilhar a informação e conhe-cimento neste assunto.O GDAC foi representado por duas docentes da Escola Secundá-ria de Alcochete: Professora Assunção Leitões e Professora Marta Alves.

Trafficking Prevention”

Occurred, from 13th to 20th June, the training course “Peer Educa-tion Approach in Trafficking Prevention”, in Palermo, Italy. In this project the participants were awarded about the social pro-blem that is the human trafficking, one problem that is more real in our society that citizens are not very much informed. The training had the objective to share the information and knowledge in this issue.GDAC was represented by to teachers: Assunção Leitões and Mar-ta Alves.

“Make it Your – llennium!”

“Make it Your – llennium”! foi um seminário internacional que de-correu na Letónia de 14 a 20 de Junho.Este projecto, realizado em várias fases, sendo que a primeira fase decorreu na Holanda no mês de Março, teve com principal ob-jectivo focar as Prioridades do Milénio até ao fim do ano 2015, promovendo estas prioridades junto dos jovens que pouco as co-nhecem.Assim, o projecto também teve como objectivo promover o diálo-go entre os jovens e os governantes locais. Nos dois projectos participaram Leila Madeira e Filipe Nery.

“Make it Your – llennium!” was a seminar that occurred in Latvia from 14th to 20th June. This project, happened in several phases, in which the first one happened in Holland in March, and had as main objective to focus on the priorities of the Millennium until the end of 2015, promoting this priorities near the youngster that don’t have knowledge about it. In this way, the project also the objective to promote the inter-cultural dialogue between youngsters and the local governments. In both projects participated Leila Maderia and Filipe Nery.

O Intercâmbio Internacional de Jovens “Crowed Family” decorreu em Altinoluk, na Turquia, de 21 a 29 de Junho. O intercâmbio de jovens teve como objectivo principal não só esti-mular o desenvolvimento pessoal e autónomo dos jovens através de actividades Outdoor, mas também fomentar e promover o es-pírito e equipa.Dentro destas actividades foi possível realizar jogos de Team Buil-dind, de Orientação e actividades relacionadas com arte recorren-do a materiais provenientes da natureza.Este projecto reuniu jovens de Portugal, Polónia, Grécia, Lituânia e Turquia. Participaram neste projecto Cláudia Ramos, Aija Gailane e Emília Samorenho.

The youth exchange “Crowed Family” occurred in Altinoluk, Turkey, from 21st to 29th June.This youth exchange has as main objective not only to stimulate the self development trough Outdoor activities, but also to increa-se and promote the team spirit. Participated Cláudia Ramos, Aija Gailane e Emília Samorenho.

De 25 de Junho a 3 de Julho decorreu na Holanda, o curso de formação “Training EVS as a tool for Combating Youth Unemploy-ment”.Este projecto promoveu a utilização do Serviço Voluntário Europeu como ferramenta para o combate ao desemprego entre os jovens. Aqui neste curso foi possível ver como o programa Juventude em Acção, nomeadamente a acção 2, Serviço Voluntário Europeu, fun-ciona. Os participantes tiveram a oportunidade de aprender todos os pas-sos a dar durante o processo de um projecto de SVE.Participou neste projecto o jovem Luís Neves.

From 25th June to 3rd July happened in Holland, the Training Cour-se “Training EVS as a tool for Combating Youth Unemployment”.This project promoted the utilization of the European Volunteer Service as a tool for combating unemployment among youngsters. Here in this course was possible to see how the Youth in Action Program, namely action 2, European Volunteer Service, works.The participants had the opportunity to learn all the steps to give during the process of an EVS Project. Intercâmbio Internacional de Jovens no Montijo“Blow Your Headphones” “Are we sensible enough”Ankara, Turquiade 12 a 19 de Julho;

No âmbito do Programa Juventude em Acção, de 23 de Julho a 1 de Agosto, irá decorrer na cidade de Montijo, o Intercâmbio Inter-nacional de Jovens – “Blow Your Head Phones”. Este projecto tem como objectivo principal juntar na Cidade de Montijo cerca de 30 jovens provenientes de Itália, Letónia, Lituâ-nia, República Checa, Turquia e Portugal. Estes jovens irão traba-lhar os temas da música, cultura e criatividade ligando a diversi-dade cultural através da partilha das suas músicas e instrumentos tradicionais, cultura em ambiente de educação não formal. Através da música este intercâmbio irá fomentar a criatividade mu-sical dos jovens, a partilha das tradições multiculturais como uma identidade comum europeia, promover o diálogo intercultural, o desenvolvimento expressivo de cada um, criar uma plataforma de conhecimento de outras culturas, identidades e estilos de vida. Este intercâmbio terá como ponto máximo, no dia 30 de Julho, um festival final onde os jovens participantes irão mostrar as suas tradições musicais.

Estes projectos foram co-financia-dos pelo Programa Comunitário “Juventude em Acção”, que asse-gura 70% dos custos das passa-gens de avião, tal como todas as despesas de alojamento e alimen-tação.

Intercâmbio Internacional de Jovens no Montijo“Blow Your Headphones” “Are we sensible enough”Ankara, Turkey12th to 19th July

In the framework of the Youth In Action Programme, from 23rd July to 1st August, will occur in Montijo, the Youth Exchange – “Blow Your Headphones”. This project has as main objectives gather in the city of Montijo about 30 youngsters from Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Turkey and Portugal. These youngsters will work themes such as music, culture and creativity linked with the cultural diversity sha-ring their traditional instruments and music in a non-formal educa-tion.Through the music this exchange will increase the musical creativi-ty of youngsters, share the multicultural diversity as one common European Identity, promote the intercultural dialogue, the self-ex-press development, create a knowledge platform of other cultures, identity and life styles. This project will have a final festival, on 30th July, where the young participants will show their music traditions.

These projects are co-financed by the European Commission “Youth in Action” Program, which pays for 70% of the travel costs and for the total accommodation and alimen-tation costs.

Programa Aprendizagem ao Longoda Vida, Leonardo Da Vinci

Ao abrigo do Programa Aprendizagem ao Longo da Vida, Leonardo Da Vinci, a Associação para a Formação Profissional e Desenvolvimento do Montijo, em parceria com a Câmara Municipal de Montijo, através do GDAC, acolhe desde Janeiro, projectos de formação inicial. Até ao mo-mento estiveram no Concelho, cerca de 5 grupos de jovens estudantes romenos.Para este efeito, foi criado alojamento próprio para receber estes jovens. Este alojamento, que se encontra nas antigas instalações da Escola Pro-fissional, dispõe de 4 quartos, uma sala de convívio, uma cozinha e um balneário.

A 10 de Janeiro, acolhemos um grupo de 22 estudantes, mais 2 professoras, provenientes do Grupul Scolar Industrial “Emanuil Un-gureanu”, Roménia, para realizarem o projecto “Tourism Without Boarders”.Este grupo de jovens realizou Estágios de Formação Profissional no âmbito do Programa Aprendizagem ao Longo da Vida – Leonar-do Da Vinci.Os 22 jovens, com formação na área de Turismo, foram inseridos em vários locais de estágio pelo Distrito de Setúbal, nomeadamen-te:- Posto de Turismo, Montijo; Posto de Turismo, Alcochete; Posto de Turismo, Barreiro; Posto de Turismo, Seixal; Posto de Turismo, Almada; Pousada da Juventude, Almada; Pousada da Juventude, Lisboa; Pousada da Juventude, Setúbal; Loja Onda Jovem, Sesim-bra; Agência de Viagens Halcon Viagens, Laranjeiro; Agência de Viagens Oasis Travel, Setúbal; Agência de Viagens Mil Andanças, Setúbal.A 11 de Janeiro, os jovens foram recebidos pelo Professor João Martins, nas instalações da Escola Profissional. De tarde, este gru-po foi recebido nos Paços do Concelho, pelo Sr. Vereador Renato Gonçalves.

“Tourism Without Borders”

Life Learning Program,Leonardo Da Vinci

In the Life Learning Program, Leonardo Da Vinci Framework, the, in part-nership, through GDAC, host since January, Initial Formation Projects. Until the moment, we hosted 5 groups of Romanian students.For these projects, we created a hostel to host the youngsters. This hos-tel has 4 rooms, 1 living room, kitchen and showers.

In 10th January, we hosted a group of 22 students and 2 teachers, from “Grupul Scolar Industrial “Emanuil Ungureanu”, Romania, to make the project “Tourism without Boarders”.This group of young students came to do Initial Formation Intern-ships in the Life Learning Program – Leonardo Da Vinci frame-work.The 22 students with formation in the tourism area made their project in several travel agencies of the region.On the 11th January, the youngsters participated in the Welcomed Ceremony in the local Vocational School and in the afternoon in the City Council of Montijo.

“Tourism Without Borders”

De 10 a 17 de Janeiro, acolhemos o projecto “Partnership Torwar-ds Better Jobs and Working Experience on Commerce Field in Por-tugal”. Neste projecto participaram 3 Professores do Grup Scolar Chisinau Cris, Roménia.Este grupo visitou a Administração do Freeport, do Fórum Montijo, do El Corte Inglês, Armazéns do Chiado, Intermarché Alcochete, E’Leclerc Montijo, Pingo Doce e Feira Nova do Grupo Jerónimo Martins. Houve ainda a oportunidade destes professores assisti-rem, na Escola Profissional do Montijo, a um workshop sobre téc-nicas comerciais e de facturação.Este projecto, com a duração de uma semana, teve como princi-pal objectivo visualizar e partilhar um conjunto de boas práticas na área de comércio, para que de futuro seja possível acolher jovens estagiários nesta área de formação.

“Partnership Towardbetter Jobs and Working Experiences onCommerce”

From 10th to 17th January, we host the project “Partnership toward Better Jobs and Working Experience on Commerce Field in Portu-gal”. In this project participated 3 teachers from the Grup Scolar Chisinau Cris, Romania.This group visited the administration of Freeport, Forum Montijo, El Corte Inglês, Armazéns do Chaido, Intermarché Alcochete and E’Leclerc Montijo, Pingo Doce and Feira Nova from Jerónimo Mar-tins Group. There was also the opportunity for these teachers to participate in a workshop about commerce techniques in the local Vocational School.This project, last one week, and had as main objectives to observe and share several good practices in the commerce field, in order to be possible in the future to host young students for internships in the Leonardo Da Vinci framework.

No projecto “Development on the Abilities in Consumers”, que de-correu de 24 de Janeiro a 14 de Fevereiro, participaram cerca de 14 estudantes da área de formação de restauração.Os jovens foram distribuídos por restaurantes do Concelho de Montijo e Alcochete, nomeadamente:- Maré Cheia; Lucas e Ti Maria; O Pipas; Montiprato; O Farpas; Arco-Íris; Alfoz. No dia 25 de Janeiro, este grupo de 14 jovens, acompanhados por duas professoras, foram recebidos pelo Professor João Martins, nas instalações da Escola Profissional do Montijo. Da parte da tar-de os jovens foram recebidos no Auditório da Galeria Municipal, pelo Sr. Vereador Nuno Canta.

“Development on theAbilities in Consumers”

In the project “Development on the Abilities in Consumers”, that occurred from 24th January to 14th February, participate 14 stu-dents with formation in Restaurants.The youngsters were distributed by the restaurants of the region.On the 25th January, the group of 14 youngsters with 2 teachers, participated in the Welcoming Ceremony in the Local Vocational School and in the City Council of Montijo.

“Learning and Teaching Tactics and Techniques in Sports”

From 15th February to 14th March, we hosted in the City of Montijo, 15 students and 2 teachers in the project “Learning and teaching tactics and techniques in Sports”, from “Liceu Sportiv Arad”.The 22 youngsters, with formation in Sports, made their intern-ships in several sports associations in Montijo.Also besides of their projects the young students had the oppor-tunity to visit Spor Lisboa e Benfica Stadium, Sporting Clube de Portugal Stadium and Academy.

De 15 de Fevereiro a 14 de Março, acolhemos na cidade de Mon-tijo, 15 alunos e 2 professores no projecto “Learning and teaching tactics and techniques in Sports”, provenientes do “Liceu Sportiv Arad”, Roménia. “Cooperation andTransnational Partnership in Training as Key toCareer on European Labor Market”

We hosted from 14th March to 4th April, a group of 14 students and 3 teachers in the project “Cooperation and Transnational Part-nership in Training as Key to Career on European Labor Market”, from “Grup Scolar Corund”, Romania.The 14 youngsters made their internship in several restaurants from the region. Besides of making their project, the youngsters had the opportu-nity to make cultural visits to Montijo and Lisbon.

De 3 a 28 de Maio, a Associação para a Formação Profissional e Desenvolvimento de Montijo, através do GDAC, acolheu 14 jovens e 2 Professores, provenientes da “Fundacion Tomillo”, Espanha.Os jovens realizaram Estágios de Formação Profissional Inicial no âmbito do Programa Aprendizagem ao Longo da Vida – Leonardo Da Vinci.Os 14 jovens, com formação em várias áreas, estiveram a realizar os seus projectos de estágio em várias entidades do concelho, nomeadamente:- Escola Profissional de Montijo; Lojas Chiptec; Restaurante Pipas; Restaurante Maré Cheia.

From 3rd to 28th May, Associação para Formação Profissional e Desenvolvimento do Montijo, through GDAC, hosted 14 students and 2 teachers from “Fundacion Tomillo”, Spain. The youngster made their initial professional formation in the framework of Life Learning Program – Leonardo Da Vinci. The 14 students, from different formation areas, made their projects in several entities of Montijo council.

De 17 de Maio a 13 de Junho, acolhemos um grupo de 20 jovens estudantes e 2 professoras, provenientes da Escola Zespói Szkól, Polónia. Este grupo de jovens realizou Estágios de Formação Profissional Inicial no âmbito do Programa Aprendizagem ao Longo da Vida – Leonardo Da Vinci.

From 17th May to 13th June, we hosted a group of 20 students and 2 teachers from Zespói Szkól School, Poland. This group of youngsters made their project in the new information technologies and informatics.

Os jovens realizaram os seus projectos na área da Informática e novas tecnologias de informação. Os estágios realizaram-se nas seguintes entidades:- Escola Secundária de Alcochete;- CENFORMA (Centro de Formação Montijo e Alcochete);- Escola Secundária Jorge Peixinho; - Escola Secundária Poeta Joaquim Serra;- Câmara Municipal de Montijo.

Os jovens tiveram também a oportunidade de visitar vários pontos culturais na cidade de Montijo e Lisboa.

Voluntariado Em parceria com a Associação para a Formação Profissional e De-senvolvimento de Montijo, acolhemos desde Setembro de 2009, ao abrigo da Acção 2 – Serviço Voluntário Europeu, do Programa Comunitário “Juventude em Acção”, jovens voluntários.Em Setembro 2009 acolhemos Kamila Solska, jovem Polaca, que irá ficar na Cidade de Montijo até Setembro de 2010. Esta jovem dá apoio no acolhimento de jovens estudantes que participam nos Projectos de Formação Inicial, Aprendizagem ao Longo da Vida, Leonardo Da Vinci.No dia 5 de Abril acolhemos uma jovem Voluntária Russa, Maria Fetisova, que para além de dar apoio nas actividades do GDAC, irá também apoiar o CENFORMA, Centro de Formação de Montijo e Alcochete. Nos dias 14 e 16 acolhemos mais 3 jovens, Aija Galaine, Ridvan Sevinç e Eleftherios Ntristella. Este jovens são provenientes da Le-tónia, Turquia e Grécia respectivamente.

Este mês deixamos um, pequeno testemunho da Jovem Aija Ga-laine:“Não importa quem eu era antes. Sim, eu vivia na Letónia, tinha amigos maravilhosos, gato, e uma vida social muito activa, tenho formação em gestão cultural, e fui manager de uma banda, traba-lhei em diferentes e interessantes e também não muito interessan-tes trabalhos e em duas semanas fiz a mala, deixei tudo para trás, na noite de chuva (como num filme romântico de má qualidade) de 14 de Abril cheguei a Portugal para ser voluntária. Agora estou aqui e todo o resto da minha vida ficou na Letónia.É um enorme trabalho interior por parte de nós próprios para cons-truir a nossa vida desde o início. Construir novas relações, nova vida social, novos contactos, novo estilo de vida, tudo.

O trabalho de voluntário é uma oportunidade maravilhosa para co-nhecermos e trabalharmos a um alto nível profissional, aprender e desenvolver novas capacidades. E, claro, a troca e a partilha de experiências. As minhas tarefas são de trabalhar com projectos internacionais – Leonardo Da Vinci, Atlantis, Juventude em Acção e com organizações internacionais. Para mim é uma explosão de experiências que sempre quis ter. Claro que os métodos de traba-lho são diferentes entre os países do sul e os do norte e nós temos muito que aprender uns dos outros, descobrir o melhor.


Muitas pessoas dizem: “Fazer SVE e participar em Intercâmbios Internacionais são das melhores coisas na vida, será a melhor ex-periência que acontecerá na tua vida.” Parece tolice e banal, mas acreditem em mim – Têm toda a razão e agora eu podia juntar-me a eles e dizer o mesmo.É só o segundo mês aqui e só agora estou a começar a descobrir a maravilhosa oportunidade que é estar cá, conhecer todas estas novas pessoas e fazer coisas maravilhosas. In Partnership with the , we host since September 2009, in Action 2 framework – European Volunteer Service, from Communitarian Program “Youth in Action”, young volunteers.In September 2009 we hosted Kamila Solska, Polish youngster, which will stay in Montijo until September 2010. This young volun-teer is giving support in hosting young students that participate in Life Learning Projects, Leonardo Da Vinci framework.In the 5th April we hosted a young volunteer from Russia, Maria Fetisova, that besides giving support to GDAC’s activities, will also give support in CENFORMA, Formation Center of Montijo and Al-cochete. On the 14thand 16th April, will arrived more 3 volunteers, Aija Gailane, Ridvan Sevinç and Eleftherios Ntristella. These youngsters are form Latvia, Turkey and Greece.

This month Aija Galaine gives her testimony:“It’s no matter who I was before. Yes, I lived in Latvia, had won-derful friends, cat, amazing and active social life, grade in culture management, I managed music band, worked different interesting or not so interesting jobs and then in two weeks I packed my bags, left it all and in late, raining night (like in bad romantic movies) of 14 of April I arrived to Portugal to work as volunteer. Now I’m here and all the rest previous life staid in Latvia.

It is lot of work with yourself to build your life almost from begin-ning. Build new relationships, new social life, new contacts, new lifestyle, everything.Volunteering work is a wonderful chance to get know and to get work together with high level professionals, learn from them and develop my own skills. And of course, experience exchange to symbioses and share knowledge. My tasks are to work with inter-national projects and events - Leonardo Da Vinci, Atlantis, Youth in Action and international associations. For me it is just mind blow-ing experience what I have always wanted to do. Of course, work-ing methods are quite different in southern and northern countries and we have a lot of what to learn from each other, to discover the best. Many people say “doing EVS and going for exchanges is the best things in the life, it will be the best thing and experience that hap-pened with you”. Sounds so silly and banal. But trust me - they all are right and now I could just join them saying that. It is only second month here and only now I’m starting recover what an amazing opportunity is to be here, meet all those people and do amazing stuff. And believe me- it’s only beginning...”
