For “Manifesting Venus”. Christy Hall will discuss the scientific facts, psychological implications, and related myths involving Venus as well as the correlations between these 3 types of knowledge. By learning about the relationship between Venus, the Sun and Earth, you will know why this “symbol for the heart” looks nothing like the human heart and why a pentagon holds the meaning of protection. What is the difference between a morning star and evening star Venus? Why do poisonous weapons appear in myths involving Venus lessons? The talk will also include new paradigms like Chaos Theory and other concepts that can be applied to the knowledge of the Sun:Venus synodic cycle and illuminate ideal times to use intention to dream and attract new images into your life. Manifesting Venus will help you understand how Venus works to serve your best interest as a magnet and mirror in your life and how you can act in small, practical ways that support change. ASNT Membership Meeting Minutes

August 9, 2015

Marie opened the meeting at 1:34 p.m. by asking the guests to introduce themselves. Karen, Craig and Gregory shared a bit of information about themselves with the 13 members in attendance.

Marie reminded the attendees that David Cochran will be here November 6 th through the 8th. David, a speaker at a previous ASNT workshop, is from Florida and is the designer of Kepler and Sirius astrology software programs. We will meet in the Gathering Space of the church. Early registration is available until October 1st. Discussion followed regarding the details of the conference, and Dee committed to calling the church about using their coffee pot that weekend.

Christy informed the group that the spring workshop with Frank Clifford is now scheduled for April 15 th through the 17th. An evening lecture may be scheduled and Frank is also willing to see clients.

Our speaker next month is Christy Hall, who will share some of the presentation she is putting together about the Venus/Sun/Earth relation synodic cycle. The speaker in October will be Marvin Sebourn, who will discuss the Kaballah. Members can check him out at www.theatlantean.net. Of course, David Cochran will be our speaker in November followed by Wayne Hall in December, who will talk about software.

Christy introduced Betty Ann Ruyle, who spoke about numbers and planetary placements in the chart, the numerical vibrations involved in a chart. Betty Ann presented the Root meanings for the single numbers and then expanded the presentation to include interpreting double digits. She then reviewed some charts and the numerical meaning of the planetary placements.

Marie wrapped up the meeting by sharing information on how to become a member of ASNT. Respectfully submitted Susan Gray Secretary

How does it all add up? With our ASNT Weekend Workshop around the corner, your Board of Directors has been busy putting together the finishing touches on the event. Let's take a quick look at what we have learned this year that will culminate with the workshop. Let’s see how we progressed. First, we started out the year in January with Cindy Novak as our guest speaker as she helped us "square off" our chart interpretations exploring Vedic and its many rhythms. Next came our own Christy Hall touring us through her path towards astrology and all the various sciences she sorted through to make semblance of it all, and how she applies it to her own style today. March brought us Naomi Bennett and her wonderful insights and new book subject matter: Foundations of Astrology". From ancient civilizations to the hidden geometry, Naomi uncovered the pattern to life events. Diane Eichenbaum enlightened us in April with a talk on the technique she uses. We explored the charts of computer expert Alan Turing, as well as Apple Computer, Steve Jobs, Microsoft and Bill Gates, comparing their similarities and differences. June brought us a collision of heaven and earth with Russ von Ohlhausen and Donna Woodall from Austin. Here, we faced head on E=Mc2, the Fibonacci Sequence, numerology and math vs. myth. Rhavda Emison, addressed us in July discussing the Hebrew Kaballah Tic-tac-toe predictive technique to numerology utilizing rows and columns. We explored our own Birth Box giving meaning of the numbers that will help us the rest of our lives in an effective way. August brought us Betty Ann Ruyle teaching us that nothing moves without a polarity force and zero does represent something! Meaning in numbers is all around us. How did you add up last month? Which brings us to this month's speaker, Christy Hall. This time Christy will give a talk on the relationship between Venus, the Sun and Earth. We will be exploring the difference between morning and evening stars, Chaos Theory, and Venus as a magnet and mirror in our lives. Our annual ASNT Weekend Workshop is just a mere 9 weeks away on November 6-8th! Our guest speaker, David Cochrane will lead us through three different seminars. Friday and Saturday evening are shorter seminars and the main seminar is Saturday and Sunday featuring the new predictive technique catching on fast in the profession. This is a more clear and simple technique that we will all have an immediate "take away" from this session and apply to our readings. Don't miss it! David is flying in from Florida to present to us! The first seminar, Friday evening will be about Understanding the Fundamental Language of Astrology. By following astrological rules that he developed, David will tour us through this clear and simple language where the meanings of the planets, signs, and houses are specific and also a bit different from what we usually expect. The second and main program, Saturday morning and afternoon as well as Sunday afternoon will be about The Vibrational Astrology Revolution. This is a simplified form of harmonic astrology, so look forward to untangling the web this weekend! A bonus Saturday evening seminar will be addressing Astrology and Sacred Geometry. As an extension of this year's seminar themes, we will hear more in depth info on the Fibonacci Sequence and are they really relate to astrology and how. So if you haven't yet registered, you want to reserve your seat now. The seminars have been advertised at NORWAC (a national level conference) and will be advertised in The Mountain Astrologer Marie Loeb, ASNT President 2015

“The moon is a developing power and the final aspect indicates outcome of any venture under consideration. In selecting the day and hour for taking an action we base our decision to act or not on what she advises according to her final aspect “when all is said and done” If she is void of course the matter is also inactive with no harm done.”

Debbie Hanson Solar Return

to Virgos and Libras!

Our Solar return charts this month belong to Debbie Hanson and Susan Gray. Both charts are locomotives, with Venus leading for Debbie and Moon leading for Susan. For Debbie Venus is in the 10th house approaching conjunction with Mars in creative Leo. It is sextile Mercury in Libra and trine assertive Pallas in the 3rd house of communication. Pluto, ruler of the solar return 2nd house and natal 4th show that home and money can create problems with the quincunx, but ends up lucky with the trine to the end planet of the locomotive, Uranus. Susan’s Moon is strong in Cancer, giving her the immediate upper hand this year. It is trine Saturn which is conjunct the ascendant

and separating from a square to the end of the locomotive – Uranus. This can cause everything to kind of fall apart at the end if the vision is not far ahead enough to spot trouble. Pluto squares Mercury in both charts with both angular in Debbie’s chart and both in succedent houses in Susan’s chart. Jupiter is in opposition to Neptune in both charts – In Debbie’s natal Jupiter rules 5th and 9th, and Neptune rules 9th, tying a trip to children, and an emphasis on teaching/writing. In Susan’s natal chart Jupiter rules the 7th, 8th, and 11th houses, and Neptune rules the 11th creating an emphasis on social organizations, team work and goals. Saturn is in a critical degree in both charts, conjunct ascendant in Susan’s chart and in 2nd house for Debbie’s chart, giving motivation to Debbie for getting that area under control, but along with the solar return ascendant being the natal 7th house cusp for Susan, she will need to watch out for conflict, accidents, and her health, and not be too

Susan Gray Solar Return hasty with drastic decisions.
