Dear Parents: Thank you for a great field trip to Sultan Center. The kids had fun and explored with their 5 senses. Let the learning continue.

Math Inquiry: This week we will continue practicing how to write the numbers from 1-10 correctly. Also, we will review the concept of full/empty.

Literacy Inquiry: This week will be practicing with the formation of letter W. We will create a watermelon craft and other fun activities. Our new sight word is go. We will also introduce rhymes and rhyming words. (cat, bat, mat,..)

Unit of Inquiry: Central idea: Exploring leads to discovery. In this unit we will be discussing that exploring with our 5 senses leads to discovering the world around us. This week the kids will explore using their sense of tasting and smelling.

Home Connection: This week you can continue helping the kids by practicing with them writing the numbers 1-10 correctly in different fun ways.
