Regd Office : PSEB HEAD OFFICE, THE MALL, PATIALA - 147001 NEWSLETTER For Internal use 9 issue : April 2016 th It has been a great pleasure to see that almost all the Grid sub-stations of the Corporation have been maintained very efficiently by the Officers and the staff of the Sub-stations . So also the initiative by our officers and staff to ensure proper maintenance of the transmission lines for a higher transmission availability. The Scheme introduced by the Corporation to award the best managed grid sub-stations and best managed transmission lines every year on the occasion of the Republic Day celebrations have really motivated our Officers to put in their best in spite of constraints. This issue of the Newsletter with additional pages carries memorable photographs of the recipients of best managed grid sub-stations and transmission lines for the year 2015. Congratulations once again to all the Officers and staff of the Grid sub-stations and Transmission lines who have been making tremendouseffort to come out as best. With a sustained effort we, as a team, will surely make all the grid substations and the transmission lines as better managed ones and continue to serve the people of the State by making available un-interrupted and quality power. The “Green PSTCL” initiative to go for plantation in all the grid substations before the coming monsoon will enhance the beauty of all the sub-stations and help achieving the objective of the Horticulture Policy adopted by the Corporation. Falling of Kikar tree on 11 KV Behrampur & 11 KV UP S-1 feeders on dated 1.1.2016 lead to heavy fault & switches of both the feeders as well as 11 KV Breakers got burnt

The Burnt panels of 132 KV Substation were replaced by new panels and Asron-Ropar Line was energized in time and 132 KV s upply was restored in only 4 hours
