NEWSLETTER 4 OF TERM 1 OF 2020: 03 - 09 FEBRURY 2020
FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK
A child’s love…
A child's love is like a whisper, given in little ways we do not hear but if you listen closely it will be very clear.
They often do not say it loud but in how they come to you... Daddy, will you play with me? Mommy, tie my shoe? ...the many ways they tell you changes as they grow Dad, I made the team today! Mom, I've Got to go! Pop, I need some money You see there's...this girl at school... Mama, I met a boy today and wow he is so cool...! Dad, I've got something to tell you... I think she is the one. Mom, He asked me to marry him. Would you love him as your son? Dad, I've got some news for you... It's gonna be a boy! Mom, I'm kind of scared of this, yet I'm filled with joy! A child's love is like a whisper, given in little ways we do not hear but if you listen closely it will be very clear. They often do not say it loud but in how they come to you... Grandpa, will you play with me? Grandma, tie my shoe... It is never ending A blessing from above Listen to the whispers of a child's love.
BUDDY & BUDSY BULLETIN NO 4 OF TERM 1 2020
Dear Disa girls and boys,
Dear Disa girls and boys,
Buddy and Budsy would like to remind you all about positivity. Having a
positive attitude is when you see the good in any situation. One way of
staying positive is by using positive affirmations. Choose one affirmation a

COLLECTION OF LEARNERS AFTER SCHOOL
• It has been the rule in Disa Primary School, since 2012, that each and every Disa learner is
collected by an adult, after school.
• Currently, we have some learners who are not being collected by an adult.
• We also have very big groups of learners (between 20 & 30 children) who are being
collected by one adult only. This is not acceptable and very unsafe.
• Please note the following:
- A termly update of contact details of the person collecting a child from Disa Primary
School will be required
- Aftercare name lists will have to be provided to the school
- Only 5 learners per adult will be allowed to leave the premises (No big groups of 20/30
anymore). Very sadly learners are lying to the Disa Primary School staff regarding the
person they should be going home with. Dishonest and devious learners don’t belong in
Disa Primary School.
• Parents / guardians are kindly requested to please make the necessary after school
collection arrangements, for 2020, as per the rules of Disa Primary school.
