RAF 100 Years Celebration
Year 10 students James Bailey and Daniel Hubbard enjoyed a great day
in London representing their Squadron, 155 Maidenhead Squadron, at
the RAF's centenary celebrations parade in the Mall. It was a great
opportunity to see the Red Arrows and a 100 aircraft fly past. They also
had the opportunity to view various aircraft on display at the Royal
Horse guards, and took part in fund raising with other Cadets from their
Squadron for RAF charities.
It was an historic event to remember what an
important part of history the RAF has been and
will continue to be in future. Students and staff
at Cox Green school were also able to watch
some of the flyover from the school playing
field, and the Red Arrows displaying their
coloured smoke in respect for the part White
Waltham airfield played in the second World
War.

3 of our students are going to the twin
towns competition in Italy.
