At A Miles Dog Rescue we help the animals and the animals help us. Both the dogs, and the humans that touch

their lives learn trust, unconditional love, respect and the value of a bond between “man and dog.”

The main areas that volunteers help at A

miles Dog Rescue is with adoption events/ dog promotions, dog care and grooming, walking and field trips, and

general maintenance and cleaning. We also are in desperate need for a regular volunteer who can manage our website/

Facebook and petfinder site.

While we appreciate any time you may have...a regular schedule of hours or days is very helpful to us.

Please contact Julie @ 740-272-1320 for more information on Volunteering

Helping The Underdog

One of our most important mission at A Miles Rescue, is to help the dogs that nobody else wants.....the underdogs... We focus on taking

the most abused/sick, and even aggressive dogs, and rehabilitating them into healthy, happy, lovable dogs that can be adopted into

the homes they deserve. Every dog deserves a second chance and with the knowledge and patience of Behaviorist/Owner Bill Hadley, almost every dog can become a wonderful

family pet

WE ARE A VOICE FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT SPEAK...........

~Amber~ ~Tucker~ Miles~ These magnificent dogs are perfect examples of how resilient the spirit of a dog can be.

With Bill’s love and attention all of these dogs came from a life of horrific abuse and neglect, to becoming star ambassadors of our

Pet Therapy Program. Without “ A Miles Dog Rescue” and our partner rescue, “ Tucker and Miles Pawprints” , these smart, beautiful dogs would have died a slow horrible death or

face certain euthanasia.

......Saving just one dog wont change the world, but the world will change for that one dog.........with a new beginning

Please see the many dogs we have

available for adoption on Petfinder.com.

Type in “A Miles Dog Rescue” to see the

many faces we have waiting for a forever

home. Then take your time to visit and

really learn the personality of your

potential new family member. We know

and love all of the dogs we bring in, and

can answer any questions you have. This

is a big commitment so let us help you

feel confident that you are making a good

choice for your family or lifestyle.

Appointments are at your convenience.

Thanks for making a difference in the life of a homeless Dog!!

A Success Story Meet Jeremiah!!

Jeremiah is a perfect example of the strength and spirit of a dog. He was found living in a crate in Oakland California. He was as tall as he is now but he only weighed 40 lbs. He was malnourished, lethargic and lacked any social skills. Bill took him and with patience and love was able to bring this big beautiful guy back to life! He is happy and healthy and in great need of a home that can give him the love and space he deserves. He has very good manners, but does have alot of fun wonderful energy. He is house trained and craves the attention of humans. You will defiantly be the center of attention walking this fellow down the street. Interested in ming Jeremiah? call Julie @ 740-272-1320
