Today we have seen children perform a ritual of the Holy Week events at our Easter Liturgy and I can truly say on behalf of all the staff what a joy it was to see the students perform with such respect. We began each ritual with a prayer and then the scenes from Holy Week. As mentioned it is sad for many reasons within our faith but also a joyous occasion to remember the sacrifice that Jesus made. On Tuesday evening 54 of our students received the Sacrament of Penance, we thank Fr Greg and Father Linh for leading us in this sacred occasion highlighting the importance of healing and forgiveness. The children are to be congratulated in the manner in which they became the living face of this Sacrament. Our new school vision is complete and we look forward to launching this with you early next term. I thank Paul Spence who led us through this process last week and to the children, families and staff who contributed to this shared experience. This vision will become a touchstone for our community as we progress into the future. On that note I would like to inform you we have begun the process of developing a Master Plan in order to refurbish the school and playground. We look forward to working with MACS (Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools) and our school community in this process next term as we explore creative ways to provide engaging learning environments for our children. We will also be developing a School Advisory Council as this will be an avenue for parents/carers to contribute to the growth and development of the school, more information will be provided next term. On a personal note, I thank you for your ongoing support, positivity and warmth. Our community is vibrant and connected and this is reflected in the way we work together in order to continually grow and flourish. May you have a holy and happy Easter and we look forward to seeing you again on Monday 19th April to commence Term 2. Kind regards, Maree Easter Raffle Winners

Prayer Lord, help us to accept the grace of

Christ’s resurrection. Let us be renewed by God’s mercy.

Let us know the love of Jesus. Let us enable the power of his love to

Dear Parents and Carers, The end of term has arrived as we draw to a close we can proudly reflect upon the wonderful effort put in by each and every class in their efforts to have a rewarding and productive term both academically, socially and spiritually.
