Plowing of the POA building lot was questioned by Gary, who has plowed the lot since 1988. The board was told he was not interested in shoveling the stairs which is incorrect. The new plow person has not been doing a great job so the issue will be addressed in the next week. Hall Rental: There were lots of rentals in De-cember, everyone liked the remodeled POA building. A couple of rentals are booked for March and April. Outlot Maintenance: rip rap shore stabilization for 7 outlots will start in early Spring of 2019, Outlots 40, 33, 32, 27, 28, 25 & 17A, Lake Dalecarlia POA has 3 years to complete this work. Lake safety: ice is forming on the lake, please be careful and safe! Unfinished Business: Carl, from 1086 N Lak-eview Drive, reminded the board that there are 2 dying ok trees on the outlot next to him that he maintains, they are leaning towards his house. Boating Guidelines Spring is right around the corner. We would like to have everyone

aware of our sticker guidelines early so we can alleviate concerns.

New boating registration guidelines. Due to issues arising throughout the boating season, the registration process has been updated. 1. All Registrations and Key applications will be processed through the USPS mail ONLY. 2. Expedited is no longer available. USPS Mail only. 3. The watercraft mailbox is being removed from the house on Lake-view Court. Stickers are no longer available at the house. USPS mail

only. 4. All received mailings will usually be processed and mailed back out

within 48 hours. 5. It is suggested that residents have their stickers mailed out to their L a k e a d d r e s s a s t h e y w i l l a r r i v e f a s t e r . 6. It is also suggested that all residents’ mail in their sticker requests

prior to April 1st. This will help alleviate any concerns about getting

the stickers in time for when the boat is going out on the water. Helpful Reminders : 1.Sticker fees and Key deposits can be on the same check 2.Residents need to supply updated insurance which shows the Wa-tercraft to be insured. This needs to accompany the sticker registra-tion. You can have your insurance agent email the copy to water-

[email protected] 3.Residents registering new motorized watercraft need to include proof of ownership or bill of sale in order to get a sticker. 4.There are extra applications online at www.lakedalecarlia.org, or in t he box on the f r on t o f t he POA bu i l d ing . 5. It would be greatly appreciated if residents used letter size enve-lopes and not staple any of the paperwork. Thank you in advance for your cooperation, Joe Lau.

Reminder

All watercraft on lake must be registered. Registration is due

by May 1st, 2019. This includes all watercrafts. In order to

maintain control over trespassers and unauthorized watercraft and for

the proper enforcement of all existing water safety rules and regula-

tions, it shall be mandatory for every watercraft of any nature to be

registered annually with the POA by MAY 1ST. When you receive

your registration letters, please make sure you send in for your stick-

ers early enough to be on the lake legally for memorial weekend.
