Margie was born August 18,1938 in Lubbock County to DanaB. and Martha Elizabeth Mackey;she was the youngest of 10children.

She had been employed inseveral occupations ranging frommanaging apartments to owningsmall businesses. She dedicated28 years of her career to theBranch Office Sports Grill Bar.

She is survived by threechildren: Barbara Stone, RickyHawkins and John Bailey; threegranddaughters: Destinie, Kissyand Kamrbrey; two grandsons;Mitchell and Bruce; and fourgreat grandchildren; Kelsea,

Memorial graveside servicesfor Letha Mae Mitchell, 85, ofLevelland will be held at 10:30a.m., Tuesday, May 28, in City ofLevelland Cemetery with Rev.Mike Holster, pastor, SecondBaptist Church, Levellandofficiating.

She died Tuesday, May 14,2013 in Levelland.

Letha was born on November17, 1927 in Swink, Oklahoma toElmer and Lillian (Walton)Bridges. She was married to JBMitchell on April 26, 1950 inClovis, New Mexico. She had

been a resident of Levelland sincel957. She was partner in MitchellElectric and a homemaker. Shewas a member of the Town &Country Friendship Club. Sheenjoyed artwork and collectingcoins and diamonds. She was amember of Second Baptist Churchof Levelland.

Survivors include her son:Byron Mitchell and his wife,Kelly, of Portales, New Mexico;her daughter, Deborah Howardand her husband, James, ofColleyville, Texas; a sister; BettyWilliams and her husband, Stan,of Clovis, New Mexico, fivegrandchildren: Jason and JimmyHoward, Craig Baldridge, BrandyBrito, Laura Slaten, 13 great-grandchildren and several niecesand nephews.

She was preceded in deathby her husband, a daughter:Theresa Mitchell, a sister: ClaudineSetzer, and a brother: KennethBridges.

Letha had requested thatfamily and friends who plan toattend the memorial service towear light colored clothing.

Taylor Trice, son of Eddieand Pat Trice, has graduated fromLubbock Christian University.

He will be moving to Dallasto begin a career in PublicRelations and Marketing.

His long-term goals are tomove to Nashville and work in themusic industry.

While attending LCU, heearned a departmental award,participated in the WashingtonCenter Internship during the fallof 2012, was listed on the Dean’s

List in 2012 and 2013 and earnedan academic scholarship as wellas a $10,000 scholarship at theuniversity.

He was active in SIFE(Students In Free Enterprise).
