Art by: Fragrance by Anpu Varkey,

In this monsoon season, the Aakash Mallige trees are laden with their white fragrant blossoms.

Any rain or slight breeze, brings forth a shower of Aakash Mallige on to streets, cars and passers

by. We are blessed to have these trees in our city. Artist, Anpu Varkey worked with Art in Transit

to paint “Fragrance" at the entrance of the Chickpet Metro Station. This mural is a tribute to the

flower market in the Chickpet area, a treasure of our city.
