Apple Stores Top List of 10 Fastest Growing Retailers in the US

• To identify America's 10 fastest-growing retailers, 24/7 Wall St. reviewed STORES Media's Top 100 Retailers report. The report is based on Kantar Retail's estimates for companies' retail-only sales, and includes the 100 largest companies by this measure, as well as their estimated number of stores.

Food Giant Mondelez in Midst of Dramatic Supply Chain Transformation

• Food giant Mondelez recently updates it plans and results for a major supply chain transformation, saying it could reduce its operating costs by billions of dollars amidst a veritable blizzard of operating initiatives. The company is just the latest in a long list of food and consumer packaged goods companies to dramatically change their supply chain networks.

Shoppers Stop pulls up its socks

• Consumer industries have felt the pinch of decreased spending by customers. However, a few retailers have bucked the trend as their same-store sales went up in the quarter ended June. Mumbai-based multi-brand retailer Shoppers Stop is one of them: it clocked growth of 12 per cent from stores operational for over a year.
