Newlands House
Newlands House is set in over four acres of parkland in the Derbyshire village of Netherseal, providing a peaceful and relaxed environment.
You will find our home has a cheerful and friendly atmosphere with many of our residents choosing to take part in a variety of activities and trips.
We pride ourselves on supporting our residents to be independent and to take part in community activities as they wish.

Well maintained facilities
Facilities
Facilities available for you to use include dining areas, television lounges, an activities room and conservatory. We also have a well maintained garden with greenhouses for you to enjoy. Our domestic team make sure that our home is thoroughly cleaned every day.
Rooms
We have 33 single bedrooms, one of which has en-suite facilities. Each room also has overhead hoists and special adaptations to suit our residents’ individual needs.
We understand that you may wish to furnish your room entirely or simply bring personal items. Our manager will be happy to discuss furnishing options for your room with you. Dining
We think that mealtimes are a sociable part of the day. Everybody has the option of contributing to menu planning and choices of foods are always available.
Our friendly and cheerful team are fully trained to provide 24 hour care and support.

Activities
We can support you to take part in activities that interest you, both in our home and the local community. Some of the many activities that our residents enjoy include gardening, movie afternoons, sailing and horse riding.
Our home is located close to pubs, a local shop and post office. The nearby town of Swadlincote offers supermarkets, a range of shops, and a newly opened cinema.
Visitors
Visitors are welcome at any time. We are happy to help your guests arrange accommodation if they would like to stay nearby.
