Due to harsh environments or severe cleaning procedures, it is not unusual for pumps to experience premature bearing failure. Ampco’s new bearing protection kit was designed to provide the ultimate protection from direct high-pressure wash-downs, which can result in water contamination past the lip seal. The bearing protection kit promotes longer bearing life on both new and remanufactured pumps. The kit includes 304 SS cleanout plugs with o-rings and 304 SS splash plates to shield the bearing retainers.
