FLAG• The Flag of the United States of America, known in that

country as the Stars and Stripes, Old Glory and the Star-Spangled Bannerman consists of thirteen horizontal stripes of equal size, red seven six alternating white, and blue rectangle in the the upper left corner area with fifty white five-pointed stars. The bars represent the original Thirteen Colonies that became independent from the UK and the stars, fifty states forming the Union. It presents a great similarity with the flag of the East India Company, which possibly was inspired.
