    Acuity : Sharpness or keenness of thought, vision or hearing.

    Alpenglow : The rosy light of the setting or rising sun seen on high mountains.

    Ambergris : A wax-like substance secreted from sperm whale intestine found floating in tropicalseas. Used in perfume making.

    Appurtenance : An accessory or item associated with a particular activity or style of living.

    Avaricious : Having or showing an extreme greed for wealth or material gain.

    Bastinado : A form of punishment or torture that involved caning the soles of someones feet.

    Bathos : Anticlimactic effect created by unintentional lapse from the sublime to the ridiculous.

    Borborygmus : A rumbling or gurgling noise made by the movement of fluid and gas in the

    intestines.

    Caustic : 1. Able to burn or corrode organic tissue by chemical action. 2. Sarcastic in a scathing

    or bitter way.

    Germane : Relevant to a subject under consideration.

    Gramarye : Archaic - Mystical learning, the occult.

    Hermeneutic : Concerning interpretation, especially of the Bible or literary texts.

    regions. Sometimes used for building.

    Obeisance : Deferential respect. A gesture such as a bow or curtsy: she made a deep

    obeisance.

    Ontology : The branch of metaphysics dealing with the nature of dealing.

    Opaque : Light cant pass through. Opposite of transparent.

    Panoply : An extensive or impressive collection.

    Panta Rhei : Everything Flows

    Parsimony : Extreme unwillingness to spend money.

    Perihelion : The point in the orbit of a planet, asteroid or comet at which it is closest to the sun.

    Opposite of Aphelion.

    Planck Length : Theoretical length of miniscule value

    Prestidigitation : Conjuring tricks performed as entertainment.

    Pro rata : Proportionally, corresponding in size or amount to something else

    Prorate : Allocate, distribute or assess pro rata.

    Quietus : Literary - Death or something that causes death, regarded as a release from life.

    Archaic - Something that has a calming or soothing effect.

    Rubicund : Having a ruddy complexion

    or duller effect.

    Servitor : A person who serves or attends on a social superior.

    Sylvan : (Also Silvan) Consisting of or associated with woods, wooded.

    Teg : A Sheep in its second year

    Vagaries : Unexpected and inexplicable changes in a situation or in someones behaviour.
