Discover the wildlife amongstthe trees

Explore Bedgebury’s tree collection to find Gruffalo, his child and many of his friends amongst the firs, pines and spruce. Tread lightly; every step brings you closer to the wildlife that live here.

The sculptures are set amongst the trees that provide vital habitats for many creatures, both big and small. You can learn more about the real animals that live here using the map whilst you explore.

...in the 800 hectacre forest and pinetum. A healthy, fun place for all ages and abilities.

• Explore the National Pinetum, a collection of conifers from around the world

• Follow in the footsteps of historic plant hunters on the play trail

• Cycle in the forest on miles of off road trails, the family cycle trail or, for a more challenging ride, try the 13km singletrack

• Swing by Go Ape for a tree top adventure on free-fall Tarzan swings and high-speed zip wires

• Enjoy a walk at your own pace on accessible paths

• Pause for a snack, hot drink or full lunch at the Bedgebury cafe

• Try geocaching, orienteering or running

• Stretch your legs on a dog walk in the forest

• Bring your horse if you’re a member of TROT (tollrides.co.uk)

Join as a Friends member for daytime admission all year, access to other gardens and a range of discounts and offers. Visit bedgeburypinetum.org.uk or email [email protected] to find out more.
