The buffer tank is a professionally engineered tank with three compartments allowing a three phase separation on well flow back reducing not only our client’s upfront frac water storage costs, but their post frac, flowback costs as well. This process minimizes cleaning and maximizes the reuse of fluid providing the only separation process of its kind. Not only reducing flowback disposal volumes, the New Wave buffer tank is instrumental in recovering sellable oil, which greatly increases client’s cost of ownership. The New Wave buffer tank is one of the preferred products in the oil and gas industry used for flowback. It also includes an integrated manifold system and a 2 – 5 million BTU stream coil heating system which prevents freezing, reduces labor costs and increases reliability to work in harsh weather conditions. When the buffer tank is used with the addition of New Wave’s Modular Tanks on flow back, we are able to eliminate the use of extra pumps by utilizing gravity flow back.

New Wave’s above ground, modular frac water storage tanks offer our customers with the most cost effective water storage solution in the industry. Our professionally engineered tank panels are designed with our innovative flanged/bolted connections to provide the strongest, safest, most reliable, modular tank connection in the industry. Ideal for water storage in multiple oil & gas applications, our line of Modular Storage Tanks reduce the on-site footprint required by traditional frac water storage options. Transported in skidded carrying cases, all Modular Storage Tanks can be transported on site in 1 – 3 truck loads and feature quick set up and demobilization, that can be completed in less than one day. Combining our Modular Storage Tanks with the Buffer Tank, clients our provided with streamlined fracwater storage options which reduces not only our client’s upfront frac water storage costs, but their post frac, flowbackcosts as well.
