School supplies can still be turned in during this week to the office for Lincoln Elementary School. RootedRooted is a ten-week small group experience that has already transformed the lives of over 1,000 people of all ages and stages here at Purpose Church. AWANAVOLUNTEEROur AWANA program provides a fun and easy way for you to impact kids’ lives for Jesus! We are seeking people who would love to either lead or assist in the classroom, listen to children say their Bible verses, provide snacks, keep records, or even pray for our kids and volunteers. We will have two training meetings on Wednesday, August 28. Please attend at either 3:30-5:30pm or 6:30-8:30pm in E202. Dinner will be provided for both training sessions at 5:30pm. Childcare is provided through grade 4 by reservation only.

Harvest SoCal VolunteersFor the 30th anniversary of Harvest SoCal, coming to Angel Stadium in Anaheim August 23-25, hundreds of volunteers are needed to help one of the largest evangelistic outreaches in our area. Mother/Son KayakingGet ready for some splash and ride fun! Our Mother/Son event is Saturday, August 24 from 10am-12pm at the Bonelli Park East Shore in San Dimas at Wheel Fun Rentals 120 Via Verde. Harvest SoCalFor loved ones who might not come to a formal church, take them to Harvest SoCal at Angel Stadium, August 23-25, for an exciting event with music by well-known artists like Phil Wickham, Lecrae, and Newsboys. In addition to Pastor Greg Laurie each night, MLB legend, Darryl Strawberry, will share some of his story on Sunday evening. The event starts at 7pm on Friday and Saturday, and at 6pm on Sunday. Come early to get a good seat. There is no fee for the event, but parking cost is $15. [email protected]
Local Kids’ Summer ClothesYoung girls, ages 4 through 12 in particular, are needing cool play clothes as the summer continues to heat up. Please drop off summer clothing donations, all sizes accepted, at the church office during the week. They will be taken to our clothing ministry to be distributed on a weekly basis. Family Missions TripEver wanted to go on a Short Term Mission Trip but did not have the time? Join us for a quick trip as we go to serve our partner church in Mexicali, Mexico from January 17-20.
