1.2.1 BackgroundNew Star Engineering Consultancy (NSEC) is multidisciplinary consulting firm in the field of engineering registered on 2067 B.S. under Government of Nepal. It comprises with a group of dynamic, energetic, and dedicated engineers. NSEC is an efficiently managed and well equipped civil engineering consultancy providing professional services and technical assistance.Nepal is a developing country, there is lots of potentiality of development and we are rich in natural resources. There is only lack of highly skilled technical manpower for rapid development activities of the country like Nepal. In this context NSEC has the ability to provide highly reliable technical knowledge in order to contribute to the development activities with in the country with experts.This consulting firm mostly involved in the field preliminary survey, feasibility study, detailed survey, planning, designing, supervision, valuation of public and private buildings, and management of the project with all engineering fields.The primary concern of the consulting firm is to provide professional services of the highest quality to our clients who include government, semi-government, non-government and private sectors.NSEC gives high priorities on Professional ethics, high standard, timely performance, cost effectiveness, quality assurance, and satisfaction of client.1.2.2 Objectives

In order to meet the general goal of NSEC the basic set objectives of the firm are as follow. To provide suitable technology for the benefit of peoples in civil engineering works. To provide effective consultation for sustainable and environmental friendly development.

To provide Valuation services for land, building, vehicles as well as Insurance survey/ Loss assessment of different kinds of vehicles and fixed properties to the concern banks and insurance companies. To promote technologies appropriate for the local environment and resource base.

To provide technical assistance to the concerning public and government sector.

To formulate of plans / programs to explore untracked resource and potentiality.

To provide accountable and effective field work. To work for the plans/programs to rise peoples' understanding regarding. Government Policy/programs and environmental degeneration.

To provide designing, drawing, and supervising services for residential and public building as per building code. To work for the sustainable growth of the firm itself.
