PRINCIPAL MESSAGE

Greetings Parents,I am so excited as we near the completion of our new building. We are on track to begin classes in Lakeland when classes resume on January 2, 2018. There will be an open house for your family to tour the building before the official move. That day/time is yet to be determined, but will likely be the last week before winter break. The Lakeland staff will be working with your students through the transition to the new building during the month of December. Detailed communication will be backpacked home as dates are finalized. We are looking forward to this new adventure and are excited to share the journey with your children!

Lakeland Newsletter

The year has been off to a great start. The kids have been singing songs, playing instruments and writing short rhythmic songs that teach to the music standards as well as relate to what they are learning in homeroom classes. I have been working with the school administration to create a program where students thrive and learn. Songfest is still being planned and more information will be coming . I look forward to the new school, and getting to know you, your children, and the Willmar community as the year continues.
