Fifty-two six-inch nozzles, which contain 60 needles, are mounted along the 26-foot boom. Low liquid pressures and correct nozzle positioning create uni-form droplets, with a minimum of fine droplets, a major contributor to drift control, according to the company. The boom is still being tested and is not yet on the market.
