ABSTRACTSky Prairie Park is located within the City of Spokane and lies within a quarter mile of the boundary with unincorporated Spokane County. Five Mile Neighborhood, as recognized by the City of Spokane, lies within city limits in the southeastern portion of the prairie plateau. This park brings life and character into a neighborhood. It provides a safe and healthy way for children and adults alike to play, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors. This park can reach it’s full potential when it has been thoughtfully planned. Without this planning, it may lose the prospect of building attributes that keeps the park contemporary and more importantly, loved and used.
