AMC Cosmote Group Outlook National media

- Shqip (Economy, page 12) AMC has donated 50 thousand of euros for the people affected by floods. In the wake of the flooding in the Northern parts of Albania, AMC will contribute for the relieve of the people of the area, the amount of 50 000 Euros to the bank account “Emergency – Shkodra Municipality”, created by the Municipality of Shkodra to support the families in the flooded areas. Apart from this financial contribution, AMC has already taken a set of measures to make available its resources to the authorities and people of the affected areas. In many of the places where water has hindered communication, AMC offered online help so that local authorities could still use their phone numbers and continue their critical work. Today AMC launched a SMS initiative to help raising funds for these families in need. All AMC subscribers that wish to contribute can text “PO” to 56056, and each SMS costs 50 Lek (VAT excl.).

In response to the emergency situation created by the floods in Shkodra, in the context of emergency communication needs of families evacuated and affected by floods of recent days, Vodafone Albania donates handsets with free airtime to area physicians and centers of temporary accommodation. "We will respond immediately to people affected by the disaster by utilizing our technology and services," said Haris Broiimidis, Vodafone Albania CEO. According to Broumidis, 20 health centres will be equipped with phones and free airtime for doctors who work in areas of greatest flood risk so as to ensure their uninterrupted contact with medical centres established by the Ministry of Health. A number of other handsets with free airtime will be placed in accommodation centres so as to enable communication of the evac-uated residents with their family members and relatives.

Technical monitoring system Monitoring system is digital and enables monitoring 20 hours / day. The server

stores all data transmitted during the day. The capacity of the server enables to preserve

for two months all materials the client is interested on.

Trained staff The monitoring department is composed of 5 skilled and trained persons,

who cast all details on database.

Full database Every data transmitted is recorded on the server, creating in this way a complete advertisement archive. The way database is created, gives us the opportunity to

extract all the necessary and required data at every moment.
