Over 150 8 th grade students participated in this event which Included performances from the BMS band, chorus and strings. Ad- vanced art students created their own interpretation of Harlem Renaissance artwork which was auctioned off and raised over $400.00. The show also featured po- etry readings, artist biographies, dancing and an even a performance from our own version of the Harlem Globetrotters. GO BUCKS! Harlem Renaissance comes to

Berkeley Middle School

The second annual Harlem

Renaissance was held on Thursday,

April 21st

room. Over 150 8th

grade students

Berkeley Middle School is a BCSD school locat-

ed in beautiful Moncks Corner, S.C.. Berkeley

Middle School currently serves 1146 students in

grades 6-8. All 60 of our teachers are S.C. certi-

fied. Our 35 member support staff keeps our

school happy, healthy and safe! BMS offers a

full range of classes designed to meet state

standards, district benchmarks & goals and all

school expectations!
