Abdos Labtech Private Limited is a manufacturer of high quality plastic laboratory products. Established in 2009 our state-of-art manufacturing facility is located at Roorkee, Uttarakhand about 4 hours from India capital New Delhi. Since inception we have been prototyping, designing, developing and producing high quality plastic products for used in life science laboratory around the world.

We are an ISO 9001:2008 certified company and CE marked with intense quality control measures and periodic reviews to ensure our plant and maintenance system run effectively and efficiently leaving no compromise on the quality served to the end user.

We manufacture industry-leading products through our efficient machines, precise mould, virgin medical grade resin, automatic platforms and clean room. NON-PYROGENIC CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS

Every lot of Abdos Micro Tips, Micro Centrifuge Tubes, Centrifuge Tubes, Cryo Vials, Petri Dish, Radioimmunoassay (Ria) Vials, Pasteur Pipette & other products are tested for Pyrogenic.

This report certifies that samples of the above products obtained from finished products are Non-Pyrogenic. Endotoxin levels are < 0.06 EU/ml. Products were tested for Endotoxins by the Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) Gel Clot Assay.

PROCEDURE:Lot samples of the products were extracted according to current FDA guidelines in Pyrogen free water and the extract solution was then assayed along with the positive and negative controls. The sensitivity of the LAL Gel Clot Assay was 0.06 EU/ml.

RESULTS:Endotoxin levels <0.06 EU/ml.

COMMENTS:Current FDA/USP guidelines set endotoxin limits for medical devices at 0.5 EU/ml, and 0.06 EU/ml for devices that contact cerebral spinal fluid. We test products according to the guidelines for medical devices that contact cerebral spinal fluid.

RNase FREE CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS

Every lot of Abdos Micro Tips, Micro Centrifuge Tubes, Centrifuge Tubes, Cryo Vials, Petri Dish, Radioimmunoassay (Ria) Vials, Pasteur Pipette & other products are tested for RNase.

This report certifies that samples of the above products obtained from finished products are free of any detectable RNase contamination. Products were tested for RNase activity by the following protocol.

PROCEDURE:Products were extracted in RNase free water. The extract was then added to an RNA standard. The RNA standard was incubated at 37°C for 1 hour then heated to 65°C for 5 minutes. RNA samples were thenrun on an agarose gel, photographed, and evaluated for degradation.

CONCLUSIONS:No visible degradation is present in the product samples confirming that the products can be considered RNase free.

WHAT IS GAMMA IRRADIATION ?

Gamma rays are a form of electromagnetic radiation-like x-rays, but with higher energy. The primary industrial sources of gamma rays are radionuclide elements such as Cobalt 60, which emit gamma rays during radioactive decay. Gamma rays pass readily through plastics and kill bacteria by breaking the covalent bonds of bacterial DNA. They are measured in units called kiloGrays (kGy).

Gamma irradiation provides a number of benefits in cost and sterility assurance. It can be applied under safe, well-defined, and controlled operating parameters, and is not a heat- or moisturegenerating process. Consequently, there is no heat stress and condensate drainage or outgassing is not required. Most importantly, there is no residual radioactivity after irradiation.

DOSE VALIDATIONGamma Radiation dose is validated according to IS. EN. ISO 11137-2 Method 1 to confirm the SAL 10-6. For that routine testing of bioburden & Sterility test carried out at our manufacturing facility.

VALIDITY OF STERILITYWe assure all sterile products have been sterile through Co-60 gamma radiation with valid certified dose and has been PASSED for all sterility tests. We confirm that the Sterile product would be Sterile until unless the packing pouch is not tampered/punctured/open or 5 yrs from date of Radiation.

SUITABILITY OF ABDOS PLASTICS FOR FOODSTUFF

ThephthalatesforwhichopinionshavebeengivenbyEFSA(EuropeannFoodSafetyAuthorityandTDI’s(TolerableDailyIntake) established for use in plastics for containers in food application, are not intentionally added in the manufacture of or the formulation of this product. The phthalates are di-isononly phthalate (DINP), DI-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), di-n- butyl phthalate (DbP), di-iso-decyl phthalate (DIDP), butylbenzyl phthalate (bbP). In addition, di-iso-butyl phthalate (DIbP) has recently been classified by TC C&L of ECb (Commission Working Group on Classification & Labeling – European Chemicals bureau) in accordance with the requirements of Directive 67/548/EC (Classification and labeling ofdangeroussubstance),takingintoaccountaNOAEL,thetoxicityofDIBPismorethan100timeslowerthanDNBP’s(product assessed by EFSA for use in plastics in contact with food). Phthalates are not used in the manufacture of or the formulation of any Abdos manufactured products.

Abdos manufactured products have passed the USP tests for a Class VI, physio-chemical testing and meets USP limits.

Abdos manufactured products are made from the base resin which meets the FDA requirements contained in the Code of Federal Regulation in 21 CFR 177. 1520 (a)(3)(i) and (c)3. 1a. 3. 2a. All other ingredients meet the requirements of their respective FDA regulations and 21 CFR 177.1520(b). All Abdos manufactured products meet the FDA criteria in 21 CFR 177 .1520 for food contact applications, including cooking.


AUTOCLAVE GUIDE LINE

To ensure successful steam sterilization of your plastic labware please adhere to the following guideline: Autoclave all plastic consumables at 121°C for 20 minutes, 15psi/1 atm. Do not use a dry cycle as this may cause deformation or weakening of the plastic. Allow temperature within the autoclave to return to at least 80°C before removing product.

Autoclaving (steam sterilisation) is defined as the destruction or irreversible inactivation of all reproducible microorganisms under exposure to“saturated steam at a minimum of 120 °C.” (DIN 58946-1, 1987). DIN EN 285 specifies a minimum exposure time (te) of 20 minutes (killing time and safety margin) at a sterilisation temperature of 121 °C. For the correct sterilisation procedure, including biological safety (DIN EN285), please contact your hygiene specialist. Prior to autoclaving plastic labware, ensure that no soiling or residual contamination remains on the equipment. Otherwise, the residual contamination will bake on solidly during the autoclaving process. Even substances that have no effect on the plastic at room temperature can still lead to destruction of the plastic during the autoclaving process. Additionally, microorganisms might not be killed effectively if they are protected by the residual contamination.

The surfaces of some plastics can be attacked by chemicals present during autoclaving, which can cause persistent clouding. Some transparent plastics can absorb minute quantities of steam, which can lead toreversible clouding. This clouding disappears upon drying, which can be accelerated through the use of a drying oven.

RPM VS. RCF “WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?”

RPM – stands for “Revolutions Per Minute” and is the speed that your rotor spins in your centrifuge.

RPM is specific to individual centrifuge brands and rotor sizes.

RCF – stands for “Relative Centrifugal Force” and is better known as g-force. This indicates the actual force resulting from the spinning action in the centrifuge. Polypropylene (PP) is a linear hydrocarbon polymer, expressed as CnH2n. PP is a polyolefin or saturated polymer. Polypropylene is one of those most versatile polymers available with applications, both as a plastic and as a fibre.

A thermoplastic, or thermosoftening plastic, is a plastic material, polymer that becomes pliable or moldable above a specific temperature and solidifies upon cooling. Most thermoplastics have a high molecular weight.

There are multiple thermoplastic resins that offer various performance benefits, but most materials commonly offer high strength, shrink-resistance and easy bendability. Thermoplastics are frequently used in manufacturing plastic labware. The most frequently used thermoplastics are polypropylene and polyethylene.

Buyer: The person, firm or company who purchases Goods from the company.

Company / Manufacturer : Abdos Labtech Pvt. Ltd., India

Brand: Unless otherwise agreed, products will be supplied under Abdos brand name.

Contract: Any Contract between the company and buyer for the sale and purchase of the Goods, incorporating these conditions.

Goods:Any Goods agreed in the Contract to be supplied to the buyer by the Company [including any part of parts of them].

Price: All prices are quoted as per Inco-terms 2010. The initial Purchase Price will be decided at the time of prevailing orders. At any time before delivery, the Company reserve the rights and may adjust the price to reflect any increase in the costs of supplying the Goods.

Currency: The prime currency of contract will be US Dollar, unless otherwise specified or agreed for any other currency.

Purchase Order: Once a final purchase order has been placed by buyer and accepted by Company, it shall not be cancelled or modified by buyer without the written consent of Manufacturer, except in the case of manifest error.

Delivery: Any dates specified by the Company for delivery of the Goods are intended to be an estimate and time for delivery shall not be made of the essence by notice. If no dates are so specified, delivery shall be within a reasonable time.

Payment Terms: Abdos standard payment terms either 100% Advance along-with the order or 100% through Confirmed, Irrevocable & Freely Negotiable L/C Payable at Sight.

Shipping Terms: Abdos standard shipping terms are Ex-works basis. However, we also supply goods on FCA, FAS, FOB,C&F,CFR,CIF,CIP&DAPShippingTermsbasedonBuyer’sspecificrequirement.

Delivery and Safety: All Products delivered pursuant to the above terms & conditions shall be considered delivered when suitablypackedforshipmentinManufacturer’sstandardshippingcontainers,markedforshipmentatBuyer’saddress,andplacedwithacarrierInco-terms2010.Buyershallpayallapplicabletaxes,customs, duties, insurance and similar charges that may be assessed against the Products after delivery by Manufacturer to the carrier.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE


Company Obligations & Warranties: In the warranty period the Company will be responsible for manufacturing defects of the Products. Company shall be entirely responsible and shall provide immediate replacement and repairs of the Products or parts thereof found to be defective. Any claim or complaints against manufacturing defectsshouldbeintimatedwithin1yearfromthedateofreceiptofgoodsatBuyer’sendthereafterno complaints/claims will be entertained.

Product recall and Product withdrawal: In the event of a Product recall or Product withdrawal, in compliance with Council Directive concerning medical devices, as amended or supplemented by national legislation, buyer must co-operate with Companyincarryingoutsuchrecallorwithdrawal.Buyershallfurthermoreco-operatewithCompany’sattorney, consultants and insurers in investigating and defending any claims or proceeding involving the Products.

Company shall bear the cost of replacement subject to the maximum amount equivalent to supplied goods (excluding shipping cost).

Intellectual property rights: Companyownsallright,title,andinterestinallofCompany’spatents,trademarks,tradenames,inventions, copyrights, know-how, and trade secrets relating to the design, manufacture, operation, or service of the Products, and to all registration, licenses and approvals for sale of Products.Neither any Contract nor the sale of Products conveys any license, expressly or by implication, to manufacture, duplicate, modify, or otherwise copy, vary or reproduce any of the Products.

Company shall have the right to defend, or at its option to settle, at its own expense, any claim, suit, or proceeding brought against buyer or a end user claiming that the Products or their use infringes any patent, copyright or trademark.

Arbitration: In case of any disputes or difference, the arbitration shall be carried out as per Indian Laws.
