Our venue has one of the best views in Caloundra and overlooks Bulcock Beach, the pristine Pumicestone Passage & the northern tip of Bribie Island. We are close to all necessary amenities including free underground parking, a taxi rank & five-star accommodation, located directly upstairs at Rumba Resort.
We offer a relaxed setting providing modern cuisine, craft beer, cocktails and all your favorite drinks at competitive prices. We are committed to providing a function tailored to your individual tastes and requirements. We can create a decorations package to suit your specific event or occasion, including helium balloons, decorations, tablecloths, candles, signage and flowers.
We have the unique advantage of providing our guests with a choice of several different areas with various layout options in each section. We can cater for a minimum of 15 guests and a maximum of 280 guests seated and 350 standing. In addition to sit down events, we are also able to cater for stand up cocktail parties, and offsite catering.
We are known for our live music and entertainment and have amazing local and national artists performing every night of the week. We also have a D.J. on Friday and Saturday nights! Our amazing chefs make all our food and sauces from scratch. Therefore, they are only too happy to create delicious, gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and raw options for those guests who have allergies or food intolerances.

DRIFT BAR AND DINING FUNCTION PACKAGES
Together with Craig Kempson our general manager, you will discuss and design a package that fulfils your brief. However there are few choices we have in place that help us provide the ultimate Drift Bar and dining function experience.
FUNCTION DURATION
Function times are as follows:
Morning / Breakfast Functions: 7am to 11am (alcohol can only be served from 10am to midnight)
Afternoon functions: 11am to 4pm
Evening functions: 5:30pm to 11:30pm
We close at midnight.
If your function requires different start and finish times we will be able to accommodate you as long we don’t have another large function booked on that same day.
EXCLUSIVE USE FEES
A minimum charge applies if you choose to have exclusive use of the Drift Bar and Dining for your function.

BEVERAGE PACKAGES
We offer three different choices of so you can tailor your beverage needs to your function.
Option 1 To charge by consumption. With this option we can set up a TAB for your guests and you can decide what they are able to drink. We can tailor this package to your desired budget and tastes. For example you may wish to include a welcome cocktail, your favourite wines and craft beers or you can choose house wines and bubbles. We can set a TAB limit for you and let you know when this has been reached. You can choose to increase your TAB as the night progresses if you wish or your guests can pay for their own drinks when the TAB limit is reached.
Alternatively guests can pay for their own beverages at the bar.
Option 2 To purchase one of our beverage packages.
NOTE: We provide your guests with arm bands so that they can be easily identified by our staff.
Additional cocktails, spirits, premium beers or wines can be added to any package upon request and charged accordingly.

you are free to choose how you would like the seating arranged, theming, music and so on without the need to consider
other patrons.

ENTERTAINMENT We provide free live entertainment from 6-9pm and from 6-11pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

TERMS & CONDITIONS Once you decide that you would like to go ahead and book your function with Drift, it is our policy that we take a small deposit on confirmation. This means your function area is booked for your desired date and cannot be given to another party or function. We then require full payment for your food component 2 weeks prior to your function.
All deposits are FULLY REFUNDABLE if cancellation of your function is more than 7 DAYS from the confirmed date. If cancellation of your function is confirmed inside of 7 DAYS from the confirmed date, we reserve the right to keep 50% of the deposit.
We do not accept responsibility for any items brought into the venue by yourself or any of your guests (ie presents or decorations etc.) It is your responsibility to ensure the security of both your own and your guests possessions.
Minors (under the age of 18) are more than welcome in the venue up until 9.30pm. However they must be supervised at all times by a parent or legal guardian and kept out of thoroughfares.
