Override Price List

Many businesses will often choose to operate using price lists where items are priced differently based on a variety of

factors such as the customer base they are marketed towards, the location of the branch, the website used to make the purchase or even seasonally when demand for certain

items is increased and others depleted. New development introduced in version 9.5 of OrderWise means users can now choose which price list to apply to a sales order with a further option that can be applied to allow a pop-up form to appear when a new sales order is raised.

Fluctuating costs is something most businesses will have to deal with on a regular basis. Often suppliers will deploy annual price increases or even decrease their selling prices based on

demand, season or special offers. If good relationships with suppliers are maintained, businesses will often become privy to this information before it comes into effect. Companies can then reflect the costs in their upcoming prices and promotions allowing sales and profitability to be maximised. In v9.5 of OrderWise, there has been a number of additions to allow businesses to better manage fluctuating costs.

Online Drop Ship Sales

delivery address by the supplier (often referred to as drop ship). A new eCommerce module feature in the 2014 v9.5 release of OrderWise now allows a direct Purchase Order to be raised on the back of an online sales order.

Allocate On Order Save

Meeting customer demand and allocating stock based on required dates is an integral part of any successful business, driving increased profitability and high levels of customer satisfaction. With

OrderWise there are a number of different places that a user can

choose to allocate stock: in purchase

orders, stock transfers, despatch, within the OrderWise allocation module or within the sales order itself. Within many businesses, available stock will be allocated on a first come first served basis and is particularly common when limited stock is being sold by multiple sales staff. In the 2014 v9.5 release of OrderWise, the ability to allocate stock when a sales order is raised has been extended to provide users with the option to automatically allocate available stock when the order is saved.

For many businesses purchasing goods in from suppliers, the over and under receipt of items is a situation that can often occur within the supply chain. Circumstances may arise when the quantity of goods received do not match the original purchase order. This could be a case of suppliers spreading the goods across multiple deliveries, sending higher quantities than originally ordered or the supplier simply being

unable to meet demand. Adding to existing functionality to update the Purchase Order quantity at goods in, users can now choose to cancel any remaining goods not received from a purchase order when booking in stock. In addition to this, users can also enable a further goods in system setting to automatically raise a debit note when cancelling the remaining quantity.

Sales Header Analysis

Due to the varied nature in which businesses will process their sales orders, it is important that the system being used is adaptable to allow for company-specific details to be recorded against each customer order. However once fields such as these have been created, companies may wish to only permit certain staff members to view the information

held within these fields. A new setting now allows access to Sales Order Header Analysis fields to be controlled.
