New eco-friendly shell garments from Fjällräven.Eco-Tour Jacket and Eco-Tour Trousers are winter versions of Fjällräven’s new three-layer shell collection in Eco-Shell. The garments are made from recycled and recyclable polyester, climate compensated and entirely fluorocarbon-free. Eco-Tour Set has all the functionality required for long hikes in the winter mountains.

The three-layer material with soft mesh on the inside creates slightly warmer shell garments that can be worn for a number of outdoor activities during the cold seasons of the year. Eco-Tour Jacket has a fixed, adjustable storm hood with de-tachable synthetic fur trim and a reflector on the back for extra visibility. A removable powder skirt keep snow and drafts away from the waist. Other functional details are ventilation openings under the sleeves and several pockets. Eco-Tour Trousers have a classic waist with detachable and adjustable elastic braces. The cut at the back is slightly higher to minimise drafts. Two-way, full-length zippers in the sides provide ventilation and easy put on/take off. There are multiple pockets, including pockets on the legs large enough for a map. The trousers have removable gaiters and boot hooks to keep cold surprises out when hiking in deep snow. Eco-Tour Jacket and Trousers will be in the stores in the fall 2011.
