Sustainable design & construction note

Ananda is planned such, that it will have a centrally longitudinal spine of open green space, in to which all the

apartments would overlook. Besides allowing residents the benefit of a soothing view of green, this also works in

conjunction with the north-south orientation of the apartments to cut down on direct glare & heat. Net result: you

have a cooler micro-environment, which allows you to reduce consumption of electricity in terms of air-conditioning

and lighting. The vehicular movement is on the periphery and ensures a low decibel and hassle free environment in

the central community space.

Green architecture principles followed aim to reduce waste of energy, water and materials used during

construction. Only locally available and recyclable materials such as fly ash bricks, AEC blocks and green paver

blocks for landscaped areas will be utilised. This also ensures lower maintenance costs in the long run. In addition,
