Guidance for Signing up

Register Click “Register” to begin the sign-up process

Affiliate With UA Search: “University of Arizona” in the text box

Proceed to Step 2 once the University of Arizona has been affiliated

Personal Information Complete as directed and proceed to step 3

Username Creation Complete as directed and proceed to step 4

Demographics Complete as directed and proceed to step 5

CE Credit Option If you wish to receive CEU credit, indicate so. Also, indicate if CITI may contact you for research. Then, proceed

to step 6

Link Your CITI to Your UA NetID Complete as directed, and proceed to step 7

IRB Selection For projects only involving Human Subjects, choose “Human Subjects”. None of the other

categories apply. Proceed to step 8.

Course Enrollment Choose the courses that apply to your research

Medical related study- choose “Biomedical Research Basic course.” Social & Behavioral study- choose “Social & Behavioral Research Basic course.”

All UA researchers must complete the “Native American Course” Please note: At least two options should be marked

Finalize Registration Click “Finalize Registration” to proceed

Main Menu Under “course” will be a list of modules that need completion. Click on each individual course to begin.

You are now ready to begin training. CITI training is valid for 4 years
