The founder of the com pa ny, Mr. AdalbertWendt, is a skilled toolmaker and ran apipe construction company until 1983.

He particularly liked fast motorcycles atthat time. This hobby led to the formationof a racing team in 1983, Fa. RAU Motor -rad tech nik.This team was responsible for the develop-ment of motorcycles which started inter-nationally in the Superbike class.In 1986 the company quarters and work-shops had to be relocated.

During this move a locksmith was called toopen a door at the new business premises.The door had to be opened by force andthe result of a de stroyed door led the fidd-ler and crafter Adalbert Wendt to thinkabout a better solution.

All enquiries to other locksmiths showed that professionallymanufactured and thought out opening tools were notavailable in Europe or were only designed for the AmericanMarket.In autumn 1986 the first opening tool was already patented.This tool, which is known under the name ZIEH-FIX®, equal-ly caused excitement and was a sensation.This tool laid the foundation of the company A. WendtSicher heits- und Aufsperr technik GmbH.Meanwhile Adalbert Wendt is owner of numerous patentsand registered designs.

Frederic Versteeg RSE is a member of theDutch corporation "Register Security Ex -pert" and he is qualified for the addition"RSE" with his name.

In 1981 was Versteeg as the Royal SergeantMajor of a Dutch Armoured Engineer Com -pa ny posted at the Bergen Hohne barracksin Germany. In this job he had a lot of workto do with safes and combination locks andever since his interest in safe technic was born.

In 2000, after many rambles and a lot of military jobs, he hasfoundered the first Lockmaster group of the Dutch LandForces. Now he is as a Major placed on the retired list still thegrand old man of this group and he trains the Lock masterspecialist of the Dutch Army.He is the safe opener asked by private-, firm- and Police -organisations in his own service VERSEC Technics. After his 4-year training at A.Wendt GmbHJosef Matyjas founded his own businessin Breslau (now Wroclaw), Poland and hasbeen a contractual partner of A. WendtGmbH since then.

Julian, Oliver and Lars are united by a common hobby - thenon destructive opening of locks by lockpicking. These threeare members of the lockpicker association of “Sports freun -de der Sperrtechnik - Deutschland”. This association wasestablished in 1997 and among other things the target ismaintaining inhibition technology as a sportive challengeand the arrangement of annual nationwide championships.

Between 1971 and 1993 Manfred Göthwas employed by the police in Hessen,where he worked most of the time for theHes sen Criminal Investigation Departmentin Wiesbaden in the area of forensic sci-ence.

In 1993 he founded his own forensic tes-ting laboratory.

Here he examines objects following a break-in or a fire. Heexamines properties for possible evidence of a break-in tofind out whether persons unknown have entered the pro-perty without using a key. Manfred Göth is also an expert in discovering whether vehi-cles have been stolen without using the correct key. He will also examine vehicle keys to find out whether theyare originals or copies.

Reconstruction of scenes of crime or damage to establishand verify the course of events also forms part of ManfredGöth’s activities.

With the equipment in his laboratory Manfred Göth can ana-lyse materials, light bulbs or animal hair and prepare foren-sic expert reports.
