1: Network Central Description Network Central is a centralised dealer information system where key dealer information is stored. 1a: Accessing Network Central Network Central can be found on the Dealer Regional Intranet Portal (DRIP) under the Links Tab. 1b: Log-in to Network Central Dealer Updaters can use the User Name and Password they currently use to log into DRIP or the URL is http://webapps.toyota.com.au/iapps/nc

2: Network Central Home Page When logged into Network Central home page there are seven icons that you will have access to.

1. Search for Dealer Staff 2. Search for Dealership 3. My Details 4. Manage Staff 5. Manage Dealership 6. Security Settings 7. Reporting

3: General Searching using Network Central To access particular parts of the application click on the icon you require.

4: Searching for Dealer Staff You can search for Dealer staff by clicking on the “Search for Dealer Staff” icon.

Enter required details into the search criteria and click search. You are required to enter the first name and last name for a result to be returned.

The search will return the relevant responses

5: Searching for Dealership Information Search for Dealership Information by clicking on the “Search for Dealership” icon.

Select the criteria you want to search on. For example, region, weight groups, state etc. Once selected, press enter or click on the search button.

Your search results will return all the dealers in the criteria requested. Please see example below.

You will have the option to either click on the Dealer Name or the Location Name for further information on the dealership 5a: The difference between information stored under Dealer Name and Location Name Information under Dealer Name is primarily administrative details of the dealership, such as identification numbers, regional information, PMA and weight group information. Location Name refers to information of the physical location of the dealership. Screen shot of information under Dealer Name Selection:

6: Searching for Dealership Sites To view if a dealership has any other sites, such as multiple branches, click on the Location Tab under the Dealer Name view.

The list of sites for the dealership is displayed in a list. Shown below.

To see more details of any Location click on the location ID link.

7: Dealer Updaters - Updating Your Own Details Updating Your Own Details Dealer Updaters have access to edit their own information. To do this click on the My Details button

Dealer updaters can edit their own information that is shaded in white.

Resetting your own password Dealer Updaters have access to reset their own password for Toyota systems such as Network Central and Showroom Direct.

SAP Passwords are not reset this way. Please see section below titled: Resetting your SAP Password. To reset your password for Toyota systems: Click on My Details

Select Reset Password

Enter the details of your old and new password and click on reset

A confirmation box will appear informing you that your password re-set has been successful

Resetting your SAP Password Click on My Details

Click on generate SAP Password under the relevant appointment at the bottom of the screen

A new SAP password will be displayed on the screen.

8: Manage Staff This section permits Dealer Updaters to edit information relating to their Dealership staff. Dealer Updaters will also be able to add new staff members. 8a: Updating staff member details Updating Details To access this click on the Manage Staff tab

Enter required details into the search criteria and click on the search button & select the staff member for which details you would like to edit.

Dealer Updaters can update fields shaded in white for their staff members

Dealer Updaters can not edit or add Dealer Principal or General Manager of Record positions

8b: Adding a Staff Member & Adding a Position to Your Dealership

A Dealer can use their discretion as to which staff members they want to add to Network Central.

Staff that must be added to Network Central are: o Sales Staff who RDR Vehicles o Staff who want access to Toyota systems o Departmental Managers

Network Central & SAP

Network Central will automatically generate a SAP record for Sales Staff. There is no requirement to add Sales Staff to SAP once they have been added to Network Central.

Dealer Updaters can add staff members to their dealership only. Adding a position is a two part process. PART ONE: You must add the staff member PART TWO: You must then add that staff member to a position or to an appointment. PART ONE: ADDING THE STAFF MEMBER To do this click on the “Manage Staff” icon

Type in the first name of the staff member you would like to add and click search

The return will show no records found. Then click on Add Staff member

Then populate the relevant fields shaded in white

When you complete populating the fields click on the save button.

PART TWO: ADDING THE STAFF MEMBER TO A POSITION / APPOINTMENT

Populate the fields shaded in white. You will need to select the dealership and staff member’s position from the drop down menu. Then click on the save button.

If your staff member requires a SAP record to be generated (eg, Sales staff) then tick the Add to SAP box

9: Editing Staff Information Dealer Updaters have the functionality to edit staff information as show in section 8a. Dealer Updaters can also: A: Add position – copy contact position B: Edit position details C: Discontinue position D: Resetting your staff members password A: Add position – copy contact position Delegated Administrators can copy contact details of a current staff member. This is a useful tool in the event that a staff member changes positions within the dealership, or where a staff member has a dual role in the dealership, such as, Customer Relations Manager and Office Manager. Type in the first name of the staff member you would like to copy and click search

Select the employee from the search results

Click on add position – copy contact position

If your staff member requires a SAP record to be generated (eg, Sales Consultant’s). Tick the add to SAP box

Enter the necessary details required. Dealer Administrators can update the fields shaded in white.

Once complete click on the save button at the bottom of the screen B: Edit Position Details To edit the position details of a staff member enter the name of the staff member in which you would like to edit from the Manager Dealer Staff button.

Click on edit position details at the bottom of the screen

Edit the necessary details required. Dealer Administrators can edit the fields shaded in white.

Click the save button when complete C: Discontinue Position Type in the first name of the staff member you would like to add and click search under the Manage Staff button.

Click on discontinue position at the bottom of the screen

A cautionary message box will appear asking if you want to discontinue the position. Click OK to discontinue the position.

A confirmation box will appear informing you that the position has been discontinued.

D: Resetting Staff Members Passwords

Network Central permits Dealer Updaters to re-set passwords of other staff members, for access to Network Central and other Toyota systems.

Dealer Updaters do not have access to reset another staff members SAP password.

Search for the employee in the Manage Dealer Section and click on Reset

Enter the new password in the fields

• A confirmation box will appear one the password has been reset.

10: Manage Dealership – Edit Dealership Information This section permits Dealer Updaters to edit specific dealership and location details relating to their dealership only. To make changes click on the manage dealer button.

Then select your dealership.

You can then make changes to fields shaded in white. Once you have made changes click on the save button.

11: Security Settings This section of the database permits Dealer Updaters to give their dealership staff security rights to access other TMCA systems.
