    AMHERST BATES BOWDOIN COLBY CONNECTICUT COLLEGE HAMILTON MIDDLEBURY TRINITY TUFTS WESLEYAN WILLIAMS

    Notes:Amherst soph. Kevin Heller (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and freshman Bob Cook (Winnetka, Ill.) were combined 5-for-10 with five RBIs during the Lord Jeffs 6-3 win over Castleton St. last week. Junior pitche

    Jeff Keenan (West Hartford, Conn.) earned the win against the Spartans, as he surrendered two earne

    runs on two hits and three walks over 5.1 IP...Colby soph. CF Nikolas Atsalis (West Hyannisport, Mass

    batted .545 (6-for-11) with a .667 on-base percentage, two runs and three RBI in a 2-2 week for the Mule

    He had one of Colbys three hits in a 2-1 win over Bowdoin on Sunday in game one of a doubleheade

    then went 2-for-3 with an RBI in a 9-1 victory over the Polar Bears. Senior RHP Matt Moore (Wilmette, Ill

    earned the victory in the 2-1 win against Bowdoin, tossing six innings with a strikeout and four walks whil

    scattering seven hits. He also had a relief appearance against Southern Maine last week... Hamiltonjuni

    OF Joe Buicko (Altamont, N.Y.) led off the first game of the Williams series on Saturday with a home run

    his second while with the Continentals. He also recorded a three-hit outing in the second game of Sunday

    doubleheader against the Ephs. For the week, Buicko batted .412 (7-for-17) with three runs scored and tw

    driven in...Middlebury rookie Joseph Conway (Hummelstown, Pa.) went 2-for-4 with a double, triple, twruns scored and three driven in during a win over St. Michaels last week...Trinity senior OF James Woo

    (Windham, N.H.) added to his team-leading home run total with his eighth of the season in Mondays vi

    tory against Coast Guard, as he finished the game 2-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBI. He ende

    the Bantams 1-2 week batting .571 (8-for-14) with a .643 on-base mark and 2-for-2 in stolen bases... Tuft

    sophomore LHP Kevin Gilchrist (Medford, Mass.) limited Trinity to eight hits and two runs while striking o

    five batters in his first career start (6.0 IP), a 10-4 victory over the Bantams...Wesleyanjunior LF Julia

    Sonnenfeld (Aberdeen, N.J.) added two doubles to his single-season record total (21) and also cracked h

    eighth home run of the season, one shy of the program mark. Sonnenfeld had a hit, run and RBI in eve

    game of a 2-1 week for the Cardinals, as he batted .538 (7-for-13) with .571 on-base percentage and a .92

    slugging mark. Sophomore Alex Meadow (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) went 8-for-14 (.571) with six runs, s

    RBI, and a pair of doubles...Williams senior LF Al Mathews (North Hampton, N.H.) hit .600 (9-for-15) wit

    an OBP of .667 and a slugging mark of .933 in a 4-0 week for the Ephs. He scored six runs, drove in eigh

    others, hit a double and two triples while walking three times.

    Mike Barsotti, Wesleyan(Soph., RHP - Philadelphia, Pa.)

    Barsotti had a strong effort during six shuto

    innings against Albertus Magnus, allowing fiv

    hits and a walk while striking out eight. He he

    opposing batters to an average of just .217

    Barsottis eight strikeouts moved him to 6

    on the season, just 14 shy of the program

    single-season record.

    Sam Sager, Tufts(Soph., 3B - Cranston, R.I.)

    Sager had some timely hits for the Jumbos

    over the weekend, including a walk-off home

    run in the bottom of the 10th to give his squad

    a 5-4 win over Trinity. In the second game

    against the Bantams on Sunday, Sager hit

    a two-run double in the bottom of the first to

    get Tufts going in an eventual 10-4 victory. He

    batted .429 (3-for-7) with a .556 OBP and a1.143 slugging mark in the two games.
