NETSChoosing the correct netWe have found that there are 3 particular questions that people ask when ordering our nets. Listed below you will find the answers to thosecommonly asked questions, which you will then be able to to use to help identify the exact style of net you need.

What is the mesh size?Assuming a diamond mesh pattern, the mesh size is measured when two knots in the mesh are pulled tightly in opposing directions so asto collapse the diamond into a flat section causing the other two knots of the diamond pattern to come together and touch. You thenmeasure the distance from the centre of knot to knot of the two knots that were pulled in the opposing directions. This is the mesh size.

What is the mesh made of?Usually it is made of nylon, polyester/cotton, monofilament orcotton. The material used is shown next to each net.

What is the diameter and the drop in the nets?Each net style will have listed the size of the net frame and the drop inthe net, once it is fitted onto the frame.

The net frame also features thicker than standard tubular aluminium for added strength. Using cleverdesign, at the push of a button, you can either quickly remove the frame from the handle or simply slide the handle up into the net frame.This compact design feature makes transportation in the boot of your car, or storage in your boat, a breeze. Need a longer handle?, we have‘em. Not only do we have a big range of one piece fixed length handles but we also have 2 piece extendable handles up 2.7 metres. Add a2.7 metre handle to your chosen net frame and your extending out well over 3 metres. Fitted with a non slip rubber grip on the handle endand an easy to replace net system, you have one of the best nets on the market.
