Statement of Scope for the Annotated Bibliography

Many Americans fear of secrets that the government could be hiding what they do behindclosed doors and there isnt a doubt that they do hide certain things from the citizens for whatthey think is better for the country, but the government could have also caused terrible things tooccur such as causing terrifying historical events in the United States. Although none of thesetheories have been proven as the governments doing, there is the possibility that the governmenthad something to do with some situations such as Area 51, 9/11 and the JFK assassination. Eventhough the government should be transparent about what really goes on behind closed doors, inthe government some things should remain in secrecy like Area 51 because not only Americans,

but people around the world would become very concerned and paranoid about governmentactivity.

This essay will explore how and why the government may hide things or keep secretsfrom from citizens. Some things that the government does should be kept in secrecy to keep the

people calm and also so citizens wont revolt against what choices the government makes. I will

examine the fact that the government does hide content from the rest of the world. Further I willdiscuss why the government may feel the need to do this and how the public will try to find outthe truth about what the government actually does. In addition to looking at what the governmentactually does and what they may have caused I will also look at that the government isnt doingenough to protect its citizens and how the government also goes behind each other's backs aswell.

The selected bibliography includes sources that address Area 51 experimentation, the9/11 terrorist attacks, the JFK assassination, food safety in the US and the CIA hacking into othergovernment agents computers. Barnes states in an article he wrote that in Area 51 thegovernment is experimenting with a secre t death ray although this new method could endglobal warming, the machine incinerates birds flying past and often temporarily blinds pilotsflying planes above. Bronner writes about how there are newly discovered recorded tapes fromthe 9/11 attacks that could prove that the government may have planned the attacks to happen.Gest and Shapiro speak of the many conspiracies that could be possible in the JFK assassination,one of the theories being that the government hired a man (Oswald) to shoot the president to stopall the new things he was doing for the country. ProQuest staff explains how the food industry isdoing terrible things to our food and the government is doing very little or nothing at all to stopthe industries. In an article Landay wrote he told of how the CIA admitted to breaking into the

Senate's computers and looking at a possible scathing report. The computers were improperlyintruded and done without a reason or permission. Together these sources show that thegovernment can be sneaky a nd keep secrets from Americas public.

when it is being processed. The government (USDA) is supposed to be checking our food

to make sure everything we are consuming is healthy and wont give us various diseases.

Recently the government hasnt been doing what they can to prevent diseased or non -

conumable food from getting out to the citizens and then they lie and say they are doing

everything they can.

51 as an expe rimental place where they could be experimenting with death rays which

could end global warming. The ray incinerates birds and they fall to the ground smoking.

The government is hiding this from us because they know what they are doing could be

bad.

of recorded tapes from 9/11 could show that the attack was on purpose and was planned

by the government. They may be trying to cover up something that they did by syaing it

was a terrorist attack. The new tapes could shed some light on what really happened and

why the government lied.

Researcher . Web. 17 Sept. 2014. This artcle discusses the JFK assasination and all of the

possibilities that could have happened on that day. There are multiple conspiracies such

as the government planning to assasinate the president and then attempting to cover it by

telling out countrys people lies. There are other possiblities that are still being looked at

to this day.

permission. This shows how the government is sneaky and will sneak behind closed

doors and lie to make themselves look better.
