1 – Dog and cat license required - good from May 1st to April 30th – get at City Clerk’s Off ice. From April 1 to May 31 they are $5, after May 31 they are $15. 2 – Bicycle license required – 50 cents, good from May 1st to April 30th – get at police station. 3 – Ordinance against grass clippings in street when mowing - $50 f ine. 4 – Register to vote at City Clerk’s Off ice – have to live thirty (30) days in cur-rent precinct also have to have two (2) forms of identif ication. 5 – Burning leaves and yard waste allowed from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Thurs-day, Friday & Saturday ONLY – DO NOT burn on tar and chip streets and please tend to your f ire. 6 – Snow removal – have cars off street when there is two (2) inches of snow or it will be a $25 f ine. 7 – Garbage men will NOT pick up appliances, electronics, bricks, cement, lum-ber, hazardous materials, etc. with regular garbage pick up. Recycling materials picked up every other week. 8 – Incinerator available April-November from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Mondays, 9 A.M. to 12 noon Tuesdays, 10:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. on Thursdays & Fridays and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for burning tree limbs, yard waste (leaves and clippings) located on 7th Avenue South. You can burn in your yard on Thurs-day, Friday, & Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. YARD WASTE ONLY.
