INTRODUCTION

Bharat pumps & compressors ltd. Incorporated 1970 was establishedat Naini, the Trans yamuna area of Allahabad with objective todesign, manufacture and supply of capital goods in the fluid

handling field including provision of services connectedtherewith.

BPC which caters to the need of core sector of the economy such asoil exploration, refineries, petrochemical, chemical and fertilizer,process industries nuclear and thermal power plant had in its

earlier phases entered into technical collaboration with worldrenowned manufacturers of indigenous design and manufactureheavy duty centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, reciprocatingcompressors and high pressure gas cylinders and other hi-tech oilfiled equipments such as cementing units, suckers rod pumps etc.

NDT (Non Destructive Testing):

ULTRASONIC TEST

This is the test for checking inside defect in the

material. Sound of frequency more than 20000 Hz(called Ultrasonic) is used for the test. A particularmachine named Ultrasonic Testing Machine is usedfor the purpose with different probes (viz normal
